Ahh i see. Well nice job. We call forward march on the columns, haha I always get confused when we goto drill comps and see these other teams doing different commands.
haha nice. Im in the Air Force JROTC here in PA, and i was just wondering, why do you call the commands so slowly? Im an air force commander and the commands come ALOT faster (just wondering), nice though, and do u call the to the rear on the right foot?
The commands in the Marine Corps drill manual are a little different than the way AF and Army do it, to include them being spread out a little if you want. Look up MCO 5060.20, thats the Marine drill manual.
Really? I thought they were too fast. A lot of the effort in calling commands (at least under the MCDM) is speaking slowly enough to have a command presence. Your calls, especially your flanking movements, were way too fast. "Bytheleftflank, march", doesn't sound nearly as good as a well-executed "By the leeeft flank, MARCH!"
Wow, been a year since I saw this video. Im not a C/2nd Lt. Came a long way since C/A1C. How are you guys doing now?

ok regulation but lacks snap. I am a regulation qualify but they are pretty good for a navy jrotc.

To be honest, I just never changed the way I called flanks. I used to call columns like that too but made the effort to stretch it out.
