  • That was super lame dude.

  • 1 pac? ya mean 2pac dumbass? lol just say there name not ur version...

  • "Dumbass"...? - Whatever.....

    Its called sarcasm. I guess youre from the States where I believe this form of humour isnt yet understood.

  • @moon199999:

    ich auch^^ der wecker xD

  • i remember when rap was creative........ STFU with that shit BITCHES! i remember when Jazz was ALIVE, rap killed it. now rap's getting killed, ITS CALLED KARMA BITCHES. evoultion of music.

  • your sound effets kill the song, stop it

  • awesome song! no need for the sound fx

  • stupid fucking sound effects.

  • BEST SONG EVER

  • las ketchu!!

  • oldsql :D!

  • this song is a classic :D

  • just kidding

  • tavon ur crazy gtfo off this page this is where hip hop started

  • Rap can never be close to how good it was back in the day... god i miss those times... now it's just a bunch of people talkin' at you... this is some real authentic stuff that takes real talent. Sugar Hill Gang, Notorious, and Tupac are the gods to the legend!!!

  • true say true say...i feel ya

  • rap is pathetic n garbage now.

  • very true

  • i remember when rap was inventive and had melody,not like the generic stuff we have now :(

  • we are never gonna get no 80's or 70's stuff back but we can always listen to it and remember the good times of it

  • this is good rap and now a day rap sucks

  • Yo nice maan! :D That´s REAL RAP!!! Thumbs up biatch,..

  • so damn good!

  • haha, this is such a ridiculous song

    it's a hundred times better than 99% of rap that's out today though

  • i agree

  • tune all over the world.....

  • why is there a frog

  • Come to see my tribute to Rapper's Delight. HIP HOP DON'T STOP.

  • this is a real hip hop, not bullshitt that eminem or 50 cent

  • Actualy, eminem is quiet good rapper, he got a huge vocabulary bypas and the way he is sendin his rhymes is incredible, but gotta agreee most of "commercial" songs from fifty definetly sux, dont like it too much ... but, try to listen up to Eminems - Hailie Song and you maybe change your mind :) peace out, Suggarhil Gang for Life :)

  • o.o ver nice song

  • Wow back before hip hop wasn't shit!

  • BEST SONG EVA!!!!!

  • CLASSIC!!! HIP HOP AT ITS BEST!!

  • brilliant fun tune...legend!

  • oh shit, i want the chords to this so bad!

  • i go bye the name mastergee!!!!!

  • Lucyyyyyyyyyyyy :)

  • and this is what staryted it all boys and girls this is the greatest song ever to grace the hip hop genra

  • this song is so OG that the term OG didn't even exist when it came out.

  • yeah, you could look at it that way, but you could also see it as the beginning of an age of music where the game was challenging each other to see who's really versed enough and knows who came first and what innovations were worthy of significant credit. no need to hate on rap. what sugar hill had goin on' (even if they was rippin off cold crush crew) was makin history in the transition from funk into sampling and lyrically focused music, a different arena.

  • lol this is my fav song on THUG 2 and i still play it and listen to this song.

  • this is the first song i havent commented on

  • old school shit

  • AMEN

  • This copy of "Good Times"by Chic,was the beginning of the end of quality music.Simple to write shite,replaced original masterpieces,to such an extent we had over 3million copys of the same fuckin tune for 30 years now.Crap(not rap) would be a more accurate description.

  • morganjake - yes does rap sucked, yo still complainin bitch,we got gils we got grills to drill your mill on top o yo hill, hold still..the best military in the world will not visit you evry day, we're in some state, how stupid **s these post have been thses days

  • DOPEE

  • im sorry but those sound effects are just annoying dont fit in the sound

  • the birth of rap

    ~~~peace and music~~~
  • annoying sounds
  • rap lost its roots
  • the birth of rap! the best tune ever
  • im soz but i love this rap.i think it is cool.xx
  • simbobs.... said the video sucks. Emil... you are probably a stupid idiot. You dont know anything about germany or the culture and all the other things germany in these days brought the world. Germans in those days were the best in military fabrications, machine fabrications and structuration. They were not free-minded and just had a short-thinking because they were a small piece of a big cake, which tasted very good for them. you cant seperate past from now;)
  • stop complaining bitch, its rap. and rap sucks dig they either talk about girls, grills, and the money they will never get because they are black and black people suck at making money. and Germany never had the best military and they never will... USMC.
  • morganjake you are ignorant, read a book or something jack ass!
  • if black people are so crap at making money why are all other races trying to make money out of black people's music?
  • nobody say the black music are so crap because they tryin` to make money man.. I dont think so! I love rap shit but ...fuck da comercial crap dawg!!!
  • a good example of this is Elvis see his first few hits all done by black artists
  • Damn you start doin the freak........
    hip hop at its best.... well almost
  • Das Video stinkt!
  • Ey nazi, what about writing English :) ?
  • But you understood what he said lol
  • Hey! Was hat zwei Daumen und scheißt auf dein Gelaber?
  • I would've liked this video if it didn't have those annoying sound effects.
  • This song was the start of rap  !
  • lolololol
  • cnp92... are you some old guy who can't get with the times? This song's good but it doesn't mean new songs are all trash... though most of it is.
    Akon has good songs... you should listen to em.
  • this gives me a bonehair
  • yeh man. same here, not even my style i listen to but this song grew to me
  • 1a gran cancion!!!!!!
    OLD SCHOOL
  • wasnt whole song
  • me suena a la cancion de las ketchup y la de Alex sintec la de "tu necesitas"
  • Hotel Motel Holiday Inn fantastic!!
  • ça m'a fais flippé dans les années 80's,à l'époque c'était la musique que j'adorais danser,c'était et c'est toujours terrible.
  • esta no es la verdadera cancion de asereje ?? que la cantaban las ketchups
  • Asi es, "Las ketchup" en su tema "Aserejé" aprovecharon la fonetica del principio de este temazo para hacer un estribillo que sonaba bastante parecido y si me permites el comentario tambien plagiaron en cierta forma hasta los tiempos de cada silaba en la base. Un saludo!! Pd: si te gusta el rap de la vieja escuela sigue escuchandoles ;) este tema es considerado la primera canción de rap (aunque el grupo tiene un corte muy funky)
  • wooo this song just makes my head moving
  • this song was a fav of my uncle's, whos is now a preacher....LOL  jams
  • AWESOME Song!!! i saw on a T.V show that Rapper's Delight Started the Era of Hip Hop...
  • Great song.
  • huh???
  • def oldschool - watching the knicks? that's pain full ^^
  • why the fuck did u put the sound effects on!!! this is such a cool song y do u need all the wind and other stupid stuff u put on!!
  • awesome xDD
  • very good and classic,but i think the message is better.you know,from grandmaster flash...
  • Yeah!!! But you know that a spanish group copies this song? LOL! incredible
  • i was yesterday on a jam with sugerhillgang in hamburg in the club shake :D
  • a true rap artist was pac because he rapped about his life what he saw what he was going through love life music 4 ur cars and clubs songs that touched us songs that made u think and songs that keeped ur head up and hip hop is bout money but thats not the main idea is about getting money while making great records and rapping the love of it not just 4 the money!
  • Sorry, but i consider old school rap like sugarhill gang, grandmaster flash & run DMC etc is more "truer" then 2pac
  • and we had 2 talk about bitches cause u know there r alot out there and we cross pathswith them and shit happens so rappers write about..
    not saying there arent women out there but u hardly c em in the hood.Now money its okay 2 rap about it but not through a whole album and not rap about something meaningful u know..like biggie rapped about it on hypnotize but it was catchy great beat and great lyrics..u dont get that now in days
  • aight i dont get yall
    yes hip hop is pretty bad but tjis year
    alot of rappers drop pretty nice albums
    so it was an improvement from 2006 and 2007
    now yall saying this was when hip hop had
    a message???wtf!..i mean i like this song
    but whats the message..its a song 2 dance 2!
    now back then hip hop songs had great beats
    catchy hooks and good lyrics..2day bubble gum beat gay hook and wack auto tune lyrics.But seriously we had 2 talk about the drugs 2 show how our cities were fucked up
  • best rap song ever. Now most rap is just about drugs, gangs, shooting people, and money. Thanks a lot Detroit
  • I agree too.
  • And that's just an example.
  • Back when rap used to mean something.(I also just listen to metal but this is awesome)
    Now rap is like Drugs, Money, whores.
    What kind of a girl want's to be called a bitch while having sex?
    I mean seriously.
  • Yeah man!
    I totally agree.
  • some girls like it like that lol. But I'd bet a majority of them wouldn't enjoy being sweared at while having sex
  • Speak'eth the truth!
    FYI, I also listen to metal. :P
  • TURKS ALARM CLOCK
  • FUCK YEHHHHHHHH XD
  • Totally hahahaha
  • i said a hip hop the hippie the hippie
    to the hip hip hop, a you dont stop
    the rock it to the bang bang boogie say up jumped the boogie
    to the rhythm of the boogie, the beat!
    lol i love that part! =)
  • this song rocks! that's true hip hop! i normally just listen to metal but i totally love this song :D
  • gamerz365: The Bass line was not ripped off. And what you're thinking of was the bass from Another one bites the dust by queen. That's coincidental, just like rick james "She's a freak" and Mc Hammer's "Can't touch this" have the same rifts.
  • no it was ripped off. i found the song it was ripped from. "Good Times" - Chic. look it up on youtube.
  • ME N MY MATES KNOW whole thing. we were born nearly 10 yrs before this innit bruv!!!!!!!!
    i said a hip hop the hippie
  • The baseline is absolutely fabolous !!
  • the bass line was ripped off some other disco song or something like that. I can't remember the original song or anything but its the exact same line from an older song.
  • This is the first time I've heard this song, but it's 30 years old and still sounds FRESH!
  • esta rola me gusta, fue la primera cancion del hip-hop que escuche cuando tenia 5 años
  • Greatest Hip Hop Song ever
  • Man true hip hop not like the shit of these days.
    Mad respect for this song.
