I worked on this show (favorite one I ever did) at a little teeny local community theater, and it cuts off like that because she goes into a sudden slump, and yes, begins with "Ya can't git a man with a gun." This version with Tom Wopat is dreamy! Thanks for posting this! OH and I do love how all the images in this piece are so pretty and sweet, and the eyeless DOLL touching the broken glass is simply terrifying. Intentional or not, it is very effective...! : D

I just realized what you meant by "cuts off". The reason the song seems to cut off is because on the Broadway revival CD it cuts off and the next track continues on with "You Can't Get A Man With A Gun" IF you want I can redo this video and add the other to the end???

Oh I see. It shouldn't really do that though.The song should finish,shouldn't it? I am from New Zealand and so I do not know much about USA Broadway cds so they all may be just made like that. If you want to change it please yourself.

Usually USA Broadway separates the CD tracks based off the song. In the actual Broadway production of Annie Get Your Gun, while singing The Girl That I Marry, in the middle of the song, it ends, and Annie jumps into You Can't Get A Man With A Gun. I will see if I can create another video with the extra song added.
