@gottaluvkaty08 Ha! I don't know. I haven't heard about it if he has. He's still on the staff list at KHS. Although it just says "PE" next to his name, no mention of basketball. The other coaches have their subject and sport, but he probably forgot to add basketball.
@BoomerSoonerAllDay Why? It is ridiculous that he has been coaching this long. As soon as his son left he should have too. He is just a mean-spirited, punitive man coaching a sport he has never played. The only reason I can see of leaving him is to make sure the athletes stay where they ought to, in the football program.
Watching this again... it's still a thrill after all these months! I've had two shrieking-at-the-top-of-my-lungs moments provided by my Katy Tigers. The first was Brian Rowe's starburst/hail mary TD catch at the end of the first half in the 07 State Championship game. The second was this 3 pointer provided by his brother.
BTW, Morton Ranch is in 1st place in district.
