but if you mean to compare the stock FJ with Stock Lancruiser 4.0 .. FJ is less

@kinglynx to explain it more .. this is old video and the car is swaped to stock form now

but in that video it was lifted to 3.5" with 325X60X20 T&W .. supercharged and some internal work .. near 400 RWHP .. the crank was balanced to hold 7000 RPM .. but we did not remove the speed limiter .. so the video shows the fastest it can go when the limiter hit .. and it was hitting in 3rd gear .. I dont know how fast it could go on 4th and 5th .. becasue of the speed limiter .

you are right .. as I said sometimes we go crazy and then we regret . The gas milage is sick .. the car is sucking the fuel tank and could take you 186 miles only ..

@DEADMAN315E yes that is right on standard Engine and they claim it will do that on the stock crank ..

but with crank work ... connecting rods, pistons , full head modification , bigger injection, high pres fuel pmp , smaller SC drive pully , bigger under drive pully , boost it to 14 PSI or More !!, modfied Tranny , headers, Y pipe , Cat Back , CAI ... good tunning you can get what you want .. but at the end you sucrifice the long life of 1GR

do all the above but with turbo .. its amazing

your tranny should shift before you hit the rev limiter, that problem will get worse over time and you will have too lift to shift, looks like your tranny cant take your motor

love fj's, but the thing i found very decpetive about them when i drove one was even thought the pick was really good its very deceptive on the speedo as is only goes to 180 were most go to 220 so when ur accelerating u think your goin really really fast but i found a stock fj is about the same 0-60 as my wrangler, but very impressed with the supercharger

with good tunning and supercharger you can reach 240, but on stock wheels and tires .

on top speed it also be noticed that the NA with good modification and tunning it could be even faster and much safer on engine and trrany side ..

FJ need's another king of Engine .. the 1GR is not reliable if boosted too much , it is easy to break...!!

No, this engine need a work to make it durable.. maybe it will last and to be concedered as a durable engine , but in my opinion it is not for some reasons

thats what people originally said about the 5vz, but its been proven engine of the year for like... 3 years in a row? plus it was designed for forced induction.

And since the 1gr-fe is designed off of the 5vz, I doubt we will see any real issues.

if anyone do not want to have a SC or Turbo .. the best thing is to have a full exhuast system + CAI+ Chip+porting+transmission modification + changing the gear retio to 4.56

it will be faster than SC with stock engine ..!!

More HP and torque are never a bad thing, and it provides more gas mileage... if not abused it will increase the life of the engine.

yes , but there was a speed limiter on this setting ..

you may see it slow , but as I said it has a huge tires and wheels ...

this is a 5 speed Auto .. but It reached the speed limiter while it is still in 3rd gear

yes it reaced 190 , but with huge tires on the GPS it is 205 .. did you get it ..

if it has a stock tires you will feel it is much more faster

any way .. I remove this setup now after blowing 2 engines ..!! LOOOOOL

Judging by how long you held second gear in this run, and the sound the engine was making, it comes as no surprise that you've blown two engines.

yeh 2 engines , but that is not the reson... the problem was from the engine finishing assmply .. the mechanic made 2 mistake , and the programmer made another two.

each time there was a a huge clearance in the pistons .. so the engine was loosiong the labrication in a strange way ..

now I am running a stoke engine with SC but I still have a problem with the programmer ..!!!

with the setting i have , I can go up to 6500 RPM by holding the Gear to 3rd .. but in fourth It will never go to 6500 , so I shift it to the D .. it will pull to 5900 and then it will shift by it self to 5th .. did you get it ?

on the dyno it has 350HP on rear wheels , but it has a huge and heavy tires

decreasing the pully to 2.3" will do more but any way it is easy to break the Tranny on FJ ..

shifting from 2nd to third was not so fast , it will go faster if it was shifted faster to 3rd gear...

someone would say how it could be .. this car equiped with a racing Rods and piston .. so it can go up to 7K RPM with no problem .. but the red line is up to 6300RPM only right now

in 4th gear it can go up to 5900 RPM before shifting to 5th where is the TRD SC stop to pull more , because of the bigger tires and lifting kit.
