I have to say I've been watching amv's for the past 8 yrs so I'm pretty critical of them (just to tell you how big of a nerd I am), but yours are by far the best I have seen in a LONG time. You do great editing and the scene's appropriately flow with the music. EXCELLENT JOB! Keep it up!
It's like you just went ahead and replaced your mouse with some turntables. I'm surprised that you actually made that work. It was so hectic... I don't want to say the video was bad or anything, because it wasn't there was just so much going on that if sword of a stranger (which i've never seen before) was any good of an anime and worth checking out. When I linked this from my Gang Starr video I started receiving comments like this, but before when it was only people used to my style, my fans, or fellow editors watching, they didn't seem to have a problem with how fast the video moves. sukafish. Please read. This is a very good amv. And the only reason I can think of it not recieving a million views like gangstar is the fact that it doesnt have samurai champloo as the title. Its hard to find if people arent familiar with your other stuff. Still shows, by the rating, that quality itself is powerful enough to catch attention.
Once this gets out in the open, it will be a big hit amongst amvs. Great work, keep at it buddy. I'll keep on checking your channel.

wow, very awesome. I think it's great. I notice a lot of people are commenting that it's to much, but I don't think so. It's not about whats going on in the video so much as it's about how these scenes placed with the music.
you're talented and i appreciate and understand that you made this video to test your editing skills. people don't understand the skiil it takes to make a video this fast while matching the music and making it look good. good job you should invest in a career in editing if you haven't already.
Technically awesome but stylistically I liked the Gang Starr Battle better. This one was just a little too frenetic for my taste. Keep up the great work!!
Ah. This is an ok video... I'm gonna say why.... the only way to enjoy this amv is if you're on speed or something of the like. The music mix is more enjoyable than the mere flashes of cutscenes you put together there. The timing is so fast you can't really enjoy the visual. But for such a fast mix you did a good job. that's my two cents anyway... Favorite parts were at 0:49, 1:23 scratches, and 1:40 for the ending.
btw I love the ending in particular 1:37 when your matching the scratching sounds to the blade swipes. nice idea :) and it works really well btw what animes did you use? one was samurai champloo but i dont know the other?

the scenes here are too scatared and deformed and more is not always better
in my opinion i still like the gangstar battle version a lot more. it kept the very weell made anime scenes and it fitted rather well with music.

Ah. This is an ok video... I'm gonna say why.... the only way to enjoy this amv is if you're on speed or something of the like. The music mix is more enjoyable than the mere flashes of cutscenes you put together there. The timing is so fast you can't really enjoy the visual. But for such a fast mix you did a good job. that's my two cents anyway... Favorite parts were at 0:49, 1:23 scratches, and 1:40 for the ending.

btw I love the ending in particular 1:37 when your matching the scratching sounds to the blade swipes. nice idea :) and it works really well btw what animes did you use? one was samurai champloo but i dont know the other?
