They played this song 6 + years ago in Boston at Avalon. You could hear a pin drop.  It was stunning. Chrissie has more confidence now and is a better singer than ever (I saw the originals). To all who think that that she is better when she is dishing than when she is wishing...I prefer her when she is wishing. She is unparalleled and heartbreaking. Long live Chrissie.

@royalnash I grew to love the second album, the songs are a bit more subdued and understated where as the first album was bursting with energy. really like this song though and I think it stands alongside "Talk of the Town" as a stand-out track.

Funny, I saw The Pretenders one week ago in Paris, and Chrissie surprised us while getting very upset and yelling to people taking picture with their mobiles in first rows (I'll stand by you, Elysee Montmartre, Paris 29/06/09).

And I notice on this video (from 2'09 to 2'15) that she complains about a photograph in the public, probably annoyed by the flash)
