  • Good job on Carter's monologue! I'm actually reading Fat Pig for my acting class this semester and I'm trying to learn Tom's monologue at the end.

  • For future reference, dont look into the camera. Act as if it were a scene, and not a monologue you're reciting. Also, add some more depth to your words and pauses. It's way too... nonchalant. Too quick.

    You need to let the audience piece some things together. Give us a moment to take in what you're saying. When it says "(Beat)", that means a pause that is uncomfortably long for you, but not the audience.

    1 second to you seems like a million, but it only seems like 1/900th of one to he audience.
