I have season 1 on a DVD that I made and this show is just a show to me nothing more it is not better without Arnold Terminator 2 was a big project and was done very well Christian Bale in Terminator Salvation is not he way to go. Arnold is a bad ass he has to be in it for it to be great. The Chronicles will never be good I am a hard core fan as well.

Now that's when your wrong dude. Before saying anything about the series you actually need to watch the whole season 1 first. In the series they do show you why she is changing and re-marrying. Your right about her being crazy in T2, but it's not her that is going to save mankind her son is. Like in the series it's their mission to stop skynet, but still they can't just forget about how to live their lives or they will be lost meaning crazy.

I thought T3 was interesting. Sarah was wrong and you can't change the future. I thought fans would like its gritty, less-humored, no-happy ending. I figured cynics wouldn't buy the feel-good ending of T2.

What I wonder is, are there advanced models in the series, if it follows T2? Would their be terminator dogs and nano terminators? Was Cyberdyne just saving its best for critical moments for stopping John?

If T3 knew the no fate thing was wrong, why did Cyberdyne send back a terminator in the first place?

I wonder if Cyberdyne ever made terminator dogs because dogs sniffed out terminators. I don't know iof they could fake them. Ts don't seem to fake personality well/maybe not dog behavior.

tjialpha, while T3 wasn't very good, it had no continuity issues. Do you not understand the point of the time-travel? It is to change the future the inhabitants of the time-traveller are experiencing, because they do not like it for whatever reason. When you understand this, you'll understand why the future after T2 ended is NOT the same as the future that sent back the T1000.

This show was watchable, but unnacceptable until last week. Now they've brought Reese back into the equasion, intimating that he, in this new time line, is STILL Johns father. Which now revokes the logic of this alternate timeline. If Kyle is Johns father, then judgement day occurs 8/29/1997. If judgement day doesn't occur until 2011, then this show is now bogus. Even if Kyle was still born, events are altered. This doesn't make sense.

Obiously you do not understand the spacetime universe, Terminator or reality alike. Please, think hard about Judgment Day and when that date was given, then think really hard about the point of time travel in the films! The reason for each time travel is to change the future of that specific timeline which the time-traveller comes from! As soon as T800 arrived, his future no longer applied, all that we get to know from that future is only what COULD happen.

You say that T3 or T:SCC are completely invalid because at the end of T2, there was no way to send back any further Terminators. You can just as easily apply this logic to T2...Kyle Reese said that the time machine was to be destroyed right after he was sent through. So how did the second T-800 and the T-1000 go through the destroyed time machine?

this series totally ruins T2. the whole point of sacrificing the arnold-terminatr in the ending was to make sure skynet (and the future war with the machines) won't exist. by resurrecting skynet they basically made arnold's sacrifice in T2 pointless. in the series Sarah and John should say "damn, we shouldn't have destroyed him, should have kept him around for protection against future terminators"

SO before I get onto continuity, character precedents, alone, dictate that John in both T3, and SCC, should be akin to his mother in T2.

I always thought T3 would be a prequel/sequel showing the initial rebellion and the birth of the resistance. I also thought it would end with the destruction of Skynet and Connor sending a soldier named Reese to 1984.
