i am not saying this because i'm a christian, half of my bloodline comes from islam my middle name is hasan. yes we had some bloodlines to them what if i tell you my great grandmother is a spaniard.
few spaniards came to the philippines...less than 5,000 in 300 years. break that down. the philippines was a ward of new spain and colonial militia was responsible for it. new spain . is now mexico.
no entiendo ni mierda de lo que dices hablame en cristiano...pero el unico mongolico es usted! abre los ojos! disculpa no puedes...eres asiatico! and yes to us all of u are chinese...y'all look alike.
@lowsodium36 So you are saying you used christianity as a colonial technique, well do i have the right to say that Spain is Satan?! Filipinos, not all are plainly monggoloids, yes we are asians we are not albinos like you, most filipinos i knew don't have slanted eyes, although we are bound to chinese and indian(aryan) culture but we still retained to what is known as "Maharlika". By the way how come a hot headed Douchbag like you really envy the philippines?
yes religion is a way to control people. are not u some of the most rabid catholics? yes the franciscan and jesuits did their job. you brought up mongoloid...I never did. and all filipinos i have ever met have slanted eyes. i am not an albino i have brown skin and light green eyes.
@joey143anna My forefathers did what they thought was right. Spain has paid for it in blood. 25 % unemployment. If you do not realize that Christianity was a colonial technique then you are blind. Don't u see it every day?
@lowsodium36 The God of Israel sought Spain as an instrument to spread christianity worldwide, btw we kicked the crap out of you during 1521 we paraded fernando magallanes's head, filipinos are different from other austronesians or mongoloids, i'm a filipino my eyes are not slanted it's more like middle eastern eyes i got from my mother, to say filipinos have slanted eyes is quite tantamountingly irrelevant.
yes yes i believed in it. we had our own culture before them but what if magellan havent discovered the philippines? there will be warring tribes everywhere. come to think of it, why is the philippines the only christian country in asia? did magellan landed here un intentionally? did GOD really intervened colonialism? remember the great persia they were destroyed because of pride! yes GOD intervened persia.
@joey143anna Whoa dudde don't get ignorant like that, ever heard of Nagasaki? Yeah, it's the second biggest catholic location in asia, and then Korea has a lot of christians. Besides, we did not need spaniards for christianity, we had the portuguese already, just as the japanese did.
@joey143anna Point is, your trying to say we benefitted from the spaniards with catholicism, I'm trying to make a point stating that no we didn't, portuguese were already on the peaceful converting, while spain sinfully misused catholicism as means of propaganda instead of practicing what they preach.
@ThtOnePinoy i know that let's get frank here straight to the point, everybody knows the spaniards were the ones who propagate christianity in the philippines, it was not only one expedition remember, how many invaders and colonizers that the filipinos never revolted? none. except islam and hinduism i think.
@joey143anna You don't get it, do you? They used it as propaganda for their own selfish reasons, not because they wanted more fellow christians. They even went so far as to say that we should be replacing our names with holy names, aka "spanish name", didn't matter which spanish name, just as long as you had one, you have a holy name. Comparible to racism, and it is. There was no such thing in the bible or 10 commandments stating the requirements of such things.

@joey143anna And like I said, we DIDN'T NEED christianity from spaniards, we already HAD THE PORTUGUESE to help us with that, just as they converted a lot of Japanese, if I heard correctly, their numbers today are a shadow of how many japanese christians there were back then when they reached their peak, if that is true. @joey143anna religions you mean? Or the people? Have you heard of the tabon man? Shows filipino's are originally from the philippines, we were not just some other immigrants.
Lol illuminati? Sounds like you have an interest in that specific topic, but as a religion? This I have to hear.
@ThtOnePinoy i have no time sharing you sorry my tummy is aching, next tim maybe tomorrow, illuminati is not a good religion nor a good topic to discuss it bring chills inside me. yes of course the tabon man who were they? were they slanted eyes? do they look like indians? were they black? many say that the philippines has a diverse bloodline, for me it's true, my descendants were semites from the middle east.
@joey143anna it's hard to tell dude, there is too much diversity to see which one is the true one. Each pinoy carries the same eyes though, "slanted eyes" as you call them :)
It's impossible that every pinoy has chinese bloodline, so this is not a mere diversity, it's our own trait. So thats square one finished...
@ThtOnePinoy yes, but the most interesting to study is their cranium or skull, filipino skulls are not equal there are many different skull formations in the philippines, unlike caucasians and arabs they have their common cranium all of them are similar and i myself is a half breed semite or aryan they call it, majority of my relatives are from the chinese bloodline but you can't see any charactersistic of a mongoloid from me. why? because i'm a semite.
@joey143anna no no if there were no spaniards..then philippines must have become the second Indonesia, or the second Taiwan... Porthguese didn't have power. they even in Taiwan and Indonesia could not preserve their ports.
@icylakepaxphile Perhaps that is due to the Spaniards having a tight grip on them because they were so power hungry.Nontheless, we would infact probably be a half Taiwan, Half Indonesia.Oh and to the uploader, we had varying religions, we had polytheistic religions(belief in many gods), buddhist, animist, hinduism, and islam. Tbh Im just saying, some people won't be as lenient towards it, for example, we benefitted from some stuff I guess, but do they outweigh the consequences? Not even close..
@tisoy909 this concept is about ethics, we were explaining about craniums not religions, the skull of modern filipinos are not similar some have mongoloid and caucasoids, semite is not a religion it's a race. Saying filipino is a race is quite irrelevantly tantamount. When you say religion refers also to a race YES it was, there was a part of the bible that disciples forbids to teach the teahings of christ TO non-jews not until peter was invited to a roman officer, they converted to christ.
@joey143anna Nobody is saying Filipino is a race, other than yourself. You were saying, "half of my bloodline comes from islam". Actually means nothing as you were speaking of "Craniums" after all. You're suggesting Islam is a race and or a jew is wrong. You will find a the majority of Jews and Muslims to be more closely related genetically than christians per say. could you accept that? Even to say that beguiles your entire premise that religions have anything to do with a race.
@tisoy909 yes islam is not a race, half of my bloodline were from the semites or arabs should i say, if you say muslims at the time and before 19th century was a race YES they were, according to historians majority or almost majority of muslims long ago were MOORS\SEMITES, THE SASSANID EMPIRE, THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE, all were muslim empires stretching as far away as africa but they were HALTED BY THE CHRISTIAN CRUSADES during that century, btw persians are not arabs.
@joey143anna You make absolutely no sense whatsoever as what you have is a lack of any point. Did you read what you just wrote. A hodge podge of irrelevant things that you're trying to contort to create some kind of ill logic. Persians are not Arabs, are you for real. How about this one, Bedoins wipe butts in loin cloths, go months without bathing.
@tisoy909, Let me help you here a bit. Joey143anna may be accurate when he said that persians aren't arabs. When you refer to persians as in Iranians, there is an ongoing contention among these people as to which ethnicity deserves the title of Iranian. There are those who claim the real persians are Aryans and some claim ethnic ties with others but they are not of the Arab stock. If born out of intermarriages, maybe yes. FYI, the real Persian believes in Zoroastrianism w/c is monotheistic.
@tuberobotto good then let me clarify to you. the joey guy is speaking of craniums, blood lines, physical features, then try to relate religions with certain racial groups,. this already pretty much concludes that he is off on his own perception of things.
@tisoy909, first things first, not all muslims are arabs and not all arabs are muslims, there catholics and christians too. Defining the word 'Jew' goes beyond our leagues here as the Israelites (who are in Israel of course) and the Jews (outside of Israel and who are elsewhere in the world) are contending among themselves who are the true Jews. This debate alone can contain volumes. The jews are semites just like their brothers the arabs who actually deny they are related thus the hatred.
@tisoy909 Btw, I also have a hard time analysing how the word 'race' could be applied to Filipinos. Is it a 'genetic' thing? Is it a superiority thing? Is it a political correctness thing? Majority of Filipinos will agree that they aren't considered a race and that is partly due to early education when schools would teach that Pinoys came from the Malay race. But does anyone know where Malays live? Do they have an address? Don't be so gullible and say 'Malaysia' coz that is incorrect.
@tuberobotto You really are a prime example of mumbo jumbo, just though i would let you know. Kinda like this video. irrelevant and incorrect, much the way you write of. much like this video, incorrect and irrelevant, meaningless on and on.......
@joey143anna, sorry but I have to disagree with you on your remark that Christianity was not taught to Gentiles on account of the Jewish race/belief/practice. Peter received instruction in a dream that the gentiles are likewise eligible for the gospel. Your notion that it was withheld from gentiles for a time is correct but chiefly due to a very profound biblical significance and I don't have enough space for it here. Maybe next time.
@joey143anna Also, don't be daft, there were indigenous people, but there were also an empire and kingdoms that prospered, tribes do not flourish in gold, or have diplomatic ties with the ming dynasty. Learn your roots and your original culture dude, you will be depressed, not at your culture, but at what we have lost...
@kit2ng219 thats not true the spaniards did not destroy your culture. before the spaniards you peoples where muslim.. did you know manila and tondo was muslim kingdoms?
if it wasn't for the spanish, you would all be muslims, think about it. alot of pre-spanish culture still exist in manila.. only the christian phil is not teaching it just fact they are muslim
huh? my ancestors were not tagalog nor were they muslim, they were BISAYA a people who was at war with the muslim pirates years before the europeans came to our shores. read Barangay by william henry scott for yourself, the phil isn't composed of just one group of people... i have NOTHING to thank the spaniards for! and mindanao? the muslims contol only the western side the rest belongs to the lumads and the bisaya!
@kit2ng219 lol why are you offended, did i wrote something offending? any way im not here prasing the spaniards, im just asking you a simple question, islam has been establish in the phil 2 centuries before the spaniards. if the spaniards never came, what main religion you think philippines will be other than muslim? pagan or animist. plus where talking about religion, bisaya and lumad is not a religion.
yes, you're justifying slavery and making it look like the colonization was a positive thing, and what muslim=tagalog=philippines lol and you didn't see it coming... the bisaya have been trying to fight off islam, they don't want it, God knows what would have happened, but look around S.E. Asia, a lot of them have resisted islam and survived, take the lumads they survived islamization until today, if they could how much more the bisaya, so its not for you to make presumptions
@kit2ng219 lumads have survived with the help of the spanish, because the sanish has been fighting the moors in south spain..hence that is how the name moro came about.. it only made sence for them to Christianize animist and pagan flips to fight the muslims as a whole because they all had one thing in common, hating the muslims.
but i am still asking you what was the religion of the Lumads and the Bisaya's?
animists..., lumads and the bisaya fought the muslims out of compromise, it was either spain or islam, but they have very old grudges against the muslims that they agreed spanish "alliance"... it was born out of compromise, there wasn't much of a choice though.
@kit2ng219 yeah i know, those Muslims where pirates. yeah when the Spanish arrive the islands where still developing. you know the spanish cock block the philippines from having those culture what Malaysia and Indonesia had.
but what was kinda weird, is that manila and tondo used to be "kingdoms" if these where kingdoms, where are the remnants of these old stone structures.
@kit2ng219 if the spanish never came, 99 percent of the whole island would have been converted to an islamic state becaues they where organized as a civilation and political structure.. Hinduism and Buddhism has a lesser chance of taking the country as a religion.
@kit2ng219 if you look at the clothing of the Lumads from those gold leaf books, it contradicts what people what people showing us that our culture where like the igorots, even worse the say where all neggritos..
@kit2ng219 thats the importance of knowing philippine history, other wise people can make up stuff negatively about filipinos.. even worse "if you dont know your history, history can repeat itself" meaning people can take advantage of you.
@kit2ng219 i forgot to talk about the hindu religion, the concept of kinship around family is there aswell as the writing of sanskrit, datu..etc.. but it did not penetrate like the Mohammedans.
the most organized civilization in the phil where the Muslims because of the political structures of the sultanates.
if the spanish never came, phil would be looking like indonesia, wasnt it bisaya was part of the Majapahit empire? your culture is not lost, just look next door and the people down south
butuan was a hindu, the difference between the two was that before the rise of islam in s.e asia, only the aristocracy practiced hinduism/budhisim while their subjects were allowed to retain whatever indigenous faith they have or wish to practice... that's the problem with the spanish colonization, the indigenous culture of the old filipinos was replaced with something foreign, something forced upon them,
@kit2ng219 of course butuan was hindu, because their are some relics found like the gold.. but still hindu was slowed down by islamic religion, i think butuan was part of the sirivijan and maghapit empire?
yes it started during the sri vijaya timeline, we could have a similar culture like that of the other s.e asians if it weren't for the spaniards, if we retained the native culture of our past that's just my point, we wouldn't have sp. surnames, we would have real filipino style architecture, writing, costumes and so on, what the spaniards did to us. and the rest of the people they subdued,is unacceptable,now our culture is not celebrated nor is it taught....
this video was made for our history class. It's about how precolonial Philippines used to have a culture of its own. we did things our way until the Spanish colonized us and our ways "had to end". however, we say "there was hope" because the Philippines also benefited from the Spanish colonization. This video is not meant to be taken literally. It is merely a humorous re-enactment used to add some creativity to our report :)
@trixx28 Oh did we really benefit from spanish colonization? Can you really say that without even a little doubt??? Compare the Luzon empire with what we have now in terms of prosperity... In our past we were more prosperous. The spaniards had your ancestors believe they were just a bunch of tribes, but when you look at our asian neighbor's records and documents, and even the portuguese findings, they said we were something else, something vastly more advanced and prosperous.
@trixx28 Did you know both the calligraphy of Tondo and Tokyo mean eastern capital? Why would Tondo be named the eastern capital if it were just a bunch of tribes that had to end their ways, and why does india's language call pre-spanish philippines the land of gold??? As I've said tribes do not flourish or prosper in gold, otherwise they would be a tribe no longer. Search up your original culture dude, trust me, you will be amazed, but depressed at the same time of what you realized you lost

Maybe next time.
tuberobotto 4 months ago
@joey143anna Also, don't be daft, there were indigenous people, but there were also an empire and kingdoms that prospered, tribes do not flourish in gold, or have diplomatic ties with the ming dynasty. Learn your roots and your original culture dude, you will be depressed, not at your culture, but at what we have lost...

spaniards destroyed our culture and further divided the filipinos. i hate what they have done. i hate those monsters.
kit2ng219 1 year ago
@kit2ng219 thats not true the spaniards did not destroy your culture. before the spaniards you peoples where muslim.. did you know manila and tondo was muslim kingdoms?
if it wasn't for the spanish, you would all be muslims, think about it. alot of pre-spanish culture still exist in manila.. only the christian phil is not teaching it just fact they are muslim
FiIipinoUnggoy 1 year ago
@FiIipinoUnggoy i mean alot of pre-spanish culture exist in mindanao.. not manila ;-P
FiIipinoUnggoy 1 year ago
@FiIipinoUnggoy
huh? my ancestors were not tagalog nor were they muslim, they were BISAYA a people who was at war with the muslim pirates years before the europeans came to our shores. read Barangay by william henry scott for yourself, the phil isn't composed of just one group of people... i have NOTHING to thank the spaniards for! and mindanao? the muslims contol only the western side the rest belongs to the lumads and the bisaya!
kit2ng219 1 year ago
@kit2ng219 lol why are you offended, did i wrote something offending? any way im not here prasing the spaniards, im just asking you a simple question, islam has been establish in the phil 2 centuries before the spaniards. if the spaniards never came, what main religion you think philippines will be other than muslim? pagan or animist. plus where talking about religion, bisaya and lumad is not a religion.
FiIipinoUnggoy 1 year ago
@FiIipinoUnggoy
yes, you're justifying slavery and making it look like the colonization was a positive thing, and what muslim=tagalog=philippines lol and you didn't see it coming... the bisaya have been trying to fight off islam, they don't want it, God knows what would have happened, but look around S.E. Asia, a lot of them have resisted islam and survived, take the lumads they survived islamization until today, if they could how much more the bisaya, so its not for you to make presumptions

@kit2ng219 that is exactly what im telling you.. but what i am asking what where the bisaya's religion?
FiIipinoUnggoy 1 year ago
@kit2ng219 lumads have survived with the help of the spanish, because the sanish has been fighting the moors in south spain..hence that is how the name moro came about.. it only made sence for them to Christianize animist and pagan flips to fight the muslims as a whole because they all had one thing in common, hating the muslims.
but i am still asking you what was the religion of the Lumads and the Bisaya's?
FiIipinoUnggoy 1 year ago
@FiIipinoUnggoy
animists..., lumads and the bisaya fought the muslims out of compromise, it was either spain or islam, but they have very old grudges against the muslims that they agreed spanish "alliance"... it was born out of compromise, there wasn't much of a choice though.
kit2ng219 1 year ago
@kit2ng219 yeah i know, those Muslims where pirates. yeah when the Spanish arrive the islands where still developing. you know the spanish cock block the philippines from having those culture what Malaysia and Indonesia had.
but what was kinda weird, is that manila and tondo used to be "kingdoms" if these where kingdoms, where are the remnants of these old stone structures.
FiIipinoUnggoy 1 year ago
@kit2ng219 if the spanish never came, 99 percent of the whole island would have been converted to an islamic state becaues they where organized as a civilation and political structure.. Hinduism and Buddhism has a lesser chance of taking the country as a religion.
FiIipinoUnggoy 1 year ago
@FiIipinoUnggoy
that's not for you to say,some of borneo an thailand survived, i bet the natives could have held the muslims at bay until ww2,
kit2ng219 1 year ago
@kit2ng219 if you look at the clothing of the Lumads from those gold leaf books, it contradicts what people what people showing us that our culture where like the igorots, even worse the say where all neggritos..
FiIipinoUnggoy 1 year ago
@kit2ng219 thats the importance of knowing philippine history, other wise people can make up stuff negatively about filipinos.. even worse "if you dont know your history, history can repeat itself" meaning people can take advantage of you.
FiIipinoUnggoy 1 year ago
@kit2ng219 also check out Dr. Ned Nepangue and Celestino C. Macachor you will find some interesting facts about escrima, arnis and kali.
it concerns about the pre-hispanic origin of the martial arts.
FiIipinoUnggoy 1 year ago
@kit2ng219 i forgot to talk about the hindu religion, the concept of kinship around family is there aswell as the writing of sanskrit, datu..etc.. but it did not penetrate like the Mohammedans.
the most organized civilization in the phil where the Muslims because of the political structures of the sultanates.
if the spanish never came, phil would be looking like indonesia, wasnt it bisaya was part of the Majapahit empire? your culture is not lost, just look next door and the people down south
FiIipinoUnggoy 1 year ago
@FiIipinoUnggoy
butuan was a hindu, the difference between the two was that before the rise of islam in s.e asia, only the aristocracy practiced hinduism/budhisim while their subjects were allowed to retain whatever indigenous faith they have or wish to practice... that's the problem with the spanish colonization, the indigenous culture of the old filipinos was replaced with something foreign, something forced upon them,
kit2ng219 1 year ago
@kit2ng219 of course butuan was hindu, because their are some relics found like the gold.. but still hindu was slowed down by islamic religion, i think butuan was part of the sirivijan and maghapit empire?

@FiIipinoUnggoy
yes it started during the sri vijaya timeline, we could have a similar culture like that of the other s.e asians if it weren't for the spaniards, if we retained the native culture of our past that's just my point, we wouldn't have sp. surnames, we would have real filipino style architecture, writing, costumes and so on, what the spaniards did to us. and the rest of the people they subdued,is unacceptable,now our culture is not celebrated nor is it taught....

this video was made for our history class. It's about how precolonial Philippines used to have a culture of its own. we did things our way until the Spanish colonized us and our ways "had to end". however, we say "there was hope" because the Philippines also benefited from the Spanish colonization. This video is not meant to be taken literally. It is merely a humorous re-enactment used to add some creativity to our report :)
trixx28 2 years ago
@trixx28 Oh did we really benefit from spanish colonization? Can you really say that without even a little doubt??? Compare the Luzon empire with what we have now in terms of prosperity... In our past we were more prosperous. The spaniards had your ancestors believe they were just a bunch of tribes, but when you look at our asian neighbor's records and documents, and even the portuguese findings, they said we were something else, something vastly more advanced and prosperous.
ThtOnePinoy 11 months ago
@trixx28 Did you know both the calligraphy of Tondo and Tokyo mean eastern capital? Why would Tondo be named the eastern capital if it were just a bunch of tribes that had to end their ways, and why does india's language call pre-spanish philippines the land of gold??? As I've said tribes do not flourish or prosper in gold, otherwise they would be a tribe no longer. Search up your original culture dude, trust me, you will be amazed, but depressed at the same time of what you realized you lost

I'm not sure. What do you mean by "It had to end" and "There was hope"?
