Who the hell hates this Spiderman Trilogy? I grew up with these, and Tobey Maguire was the most perfect Peter Parker I've ever seen. Especially when his bad persona emerges here, as what happens with every superhero: they deal with their shadow (Superman III, anyone?).

Gosh, I HATE how hollywood put off Sam Raimi and blew Spidey 4 away just 'cause he couldn't make the movie come out on time! Then it meant it would be mindblowing! DX

He left Gwen Stacy out of Spiderman movie about the Green Goblin even though in the comics the Goblin kills her. He also left out the web shooters on his wrists, fight scene with Flash tray pulled by web and jumping out of the way of punches how could anyone not know he was Spiderman in comic fight with Flash Peter knocked him out with one punch, comic so much better written.

I hate it, too. This was the PERFECT trilogy. It was fantastic, it left an impact on all of us, these were fantastic, nay, CLASSIC movies. Sam Raimi was the PERFECT guy for Spidey.

@zurge278 it's not full strength. Even when fighting the bouncers, he could have destroyed them if he was trying his hardest; he was holding back, as always. He doesn't want to kill these guys. Also, in the Raimi films, I don't think his super strength normally extends to his punches. Look at Doc Ock in the second film. Otto, besides the arms, is still a normal man, yet Spidey beat the tar out of him repeatedly without punching a hole through his head.

From the first film he said he didn't want to make a movie with Venom, because he HATES the character and thinks it's one of the worst Marvel characters ever made. He's said so in interviews many times. The studio forced him to add the character, and change the script. They added so much they wanted to make 2 films, but they couldn't get it to work. So, it was all mushed into one film...trash.
