The whole scene of Quiche/Dren talking to Deep Blue about his plan to make Ichigo/Zoey join their side was cut (this took place between the cafe scene at the autograph scene).

4Kids cut it out because they changed it to him trying to convince Zakuro/Renee to join instead (due to what changing the events in the last episode).

No one has any idea. In the original Japanese version, she just said her transformation call, there was a glowing light and then Quiche/Dren told the monster to attack. 4Kids(either for the sake of having that song in the episode or to make up for a huge cut they made earlier in the episode) just decided to add a clip show for some weird reason XD.

i noticed it in the japanese version too.... how does zoey go from being 20 feet away from renee and in the predisite thingy to the predisite thingy dropping her and then zoey being 1 foot away from renee and 20 feet away from the predisite thing??? O.o

Well, she was a really long snake. Renee wasn't that far away though(as you can see, she's looking straight up at her).

In the TokyoPop translation of the manga, yes but it wasn't a correct translation of the original. Originally, Ichigo had two catchphrases. One was "In gratitude, I'll serve you. Meow!" and the 2nd one, which she uses the most was "For the Earth's future, I'll serve you. Meow!" For some reason, TokyoPop changed it in their translation of the manga.

The funny thing though is that the original Japanese version of this episode didn't even have a transformation sequence. It just had her say the transformation phrase and then Quiche/Kisshu telling the Chimera to attack. 4Kids, for some weird reason, decided to add a clip show with the transformation song XD. Probably to make up for loss time since they cut out that whole Quiche and Deep Blue scene in the first part of this episode.

Because 4Kids cut a huge chunk out of this episode(a whole scene where Dren was talking to Deep Blue about his plan to try to get Zoey to join him). So to make up for lost time, they added that weird clip show sequence. In the original Japanese version, it was just her shouting her Transformation and then Dren telling the Chimera/Predasite to attack her.(Go to my HikaYagami channel to find out more about these changes. The videos have the title "4Kids Mew Mew Edits."

@MewMewInternational between changes like this and their Americanized names...it really sounds like 4kids took a lot away from this show. I usually love English dubs and the voice actors in this are good but the fact that they changed the names and tried to dumb the show down bugs me.

BUT I still love it. Thanks so much for uploading! I'm having a lot of fun watching it ^_^

The only problem with it is that they used a scene that didn't happen yet(that clip from episode 16 with Retasu/Bridget) and what was with the finishing clips showing the other Mew Mews transformed as if they all did it together?

4Kids only did it since they cut over 1 and a half minutes of footage already and put that in so the episode wouldn't be too short.

Yep. Shows that 4Kids is inconsistant, even during their little flashback slide show they made XD. Originally, it shows showed her calling out her transformation phrase and then Kisshu/Dren tells the snake to attack. That whole song sequence was added in the English version.

They probably did it to make up for cutting out 3 30 second clips(the whole Kisshu and Deep Blue scene, Kisshu asking Ichigo to join him during the fight, and Ichigo's attack sequence), so the episode wouldn't be so short. There were 3 15 second cuts too.

This and episode 13 had a lot of cuts in them.
