From a cross you need to tap O twice instead of just pressing it or it will go too high.

Corner, just do less power to make it go around neck height.

(Your player chooses to do bicycle kicks automatically instead of a header if the ball is in that kind of position.)

It would be great to have an all star team including the above players, with the players models accurately representing features of those great players.

well there isnt a mode like that but there are classic teams like classic brazil (with pele), classic argentina (with maradona), classic france, classic netherlands... there arent classic teams for every team tho only some of the really good ones, and the names of the players arent correct, but u would be able to know who they were. like maradona's name is malgini or something like that

Is it possible to disable the auto features on PES 2007. Things such as a defender automatically clearing the ball when in the goal area, the computer automatically judging the power of a pass depending on how far your team mate is.

Which has better gameplay PES 2007 or PES 2007, I have PES 2007 for PC but I don't like the automatic features.

the automatic features to me make the game good, and u cant disable them. atleast i dont know how

In my opinion the automatic features detract from the game, they give too much help to the player.

In some cases they also hinder the player; when passing, the computer will restrict how hard a ball is kicked therefore limiting which player the ball goes to.

The computer restricts the direct in which the ball is passed.

If the automatic features were disabled; players would make more mistakes; making it a more exciting game and players with better judgement would have a bigger advantage.

I finished downloading PES 2008 for PC a few hours ago and it has better game play than 2007. The passing is better also the more aggressive tackling makes for a more competitive game. The AI seems to be weaker than in PES 2007. Overall PES 2008 is an OK game but still has a lot of issues in my opinion.

The players on your team are not alert and they rarely move into open space to take advantage of bad opponent defending.

have a kicker that has good curve and power, such as roberto carlos. aim towards the right of the wall. hold the shoot button until the meter is filled to a bit more than halfway. while u are doing this keep holding the up directional button. after the meter is done filling, hold the left directional button. as the player kicks the ball press triangle. it might take a few times of trying it.
