Is the LIGHTING half way DECENT?

I don't know, does the sun look halfway decent? OR are you talking about the obvious spotlight used, by the hot spot of light, descending into the fall-off away from the light source. I assume you mean them going to the moon. Stars don't show because the aperture of the camera is small from the brightness of the moon. And how do you explain the film of the flight over the moon and then landing on the moon if they didn't go there. Then there's the moon rocks. Oh I could go on.

You point it at the moon and give it a little push. You are correct that it's nothing like a trip to a gas station. There is (nearly) no friction in space. Fuel is only needed in small quantities for the initial push and manoeuvring.
