Hmm... I'm kinda like you. I lean towards the conspiracy theorist, but I don't get up everyday thinking "this is the day the SHTF!!" I keep an open mind and realize I may live another 40+ years and have nothing "bad" happen. I just keep an eye on the news, spread the message a little, and keep myself prepared.
