  • The country with the strongest military on our planet has the best trained Operators.

    That's the U.S.A.

  • @SteelCityDucati Delta Force was inspired by the British SAS, its not all "USA" but rather as a whole "team" of special forces working together from all around the globe!!

  • @aintnunbutapenut That "team" is called NATO, my friend.

  • @jthompson45cal I wasn't quoting something I didn't know when I quoted team. I was referring to an actual team or group, and I'm talking about special forces, not peace holders.

  • @aintnunbutapenut Not all special forces will work together in one place, but if a conflict becomes a problem to multiple nations, their SF would likely form joint operations, like JTF-2, the U.S. Army Rangers, and the SAS in Afghanistan.

  • FFS it pisses me off when people argue who has the best special force group. The truth is their pretty much the same their both based on the same thing aswell.

  • @khyea91 haha i was like, is this guy serious right now?..

    hahaha but thanks bro

  • @khyea91 We have more resources.. therefore our trainin is generally better.

but I know that this is kind of goin against what ive said.. The british SAS have more combat experience, their special forces (and SF only) have more combat experience. This experience that helps them train their SF better.

Dont get me wrong our military is the best in the world, but i believe that the SAS is the best SF.

  • @NeoTranshuman If you really would have it that I type grammatically correct, then here you go. You said, "And C.I.A. S.A.D., well, hey recruit from Delta and Seal Team 6, so i really doubt the brits have anything that compares to them.." My side of the argument is that the Brits are in fact better trained in special forces warfare, they have more experience in combat than us Americans. Just because we may have the best military doesn't mean we give the best training in all aspects of war.

  • @NeoTranshuman CIA is amareican. SAS is british. why would we hire a BRIT to work for AMERICAN national security? youre argument is ignorant

  • SAS , who in there right mind would shoot at them ????

  • i want to be in delta. i leave for benning in january. it would be an honor to fight for this country in the delta force, sas, or the green berets.

  • r u guys kidding me with this, sas nor delta r better then the other, the r both elite teams from differnt sides of the pond, the fact is we have worked side by side each other, and r still doing so right now in the middle east and other areas of operation hince the joint coalition, just be happy you have these quiet pro standing ready to what must be done in a moments notice De oppresso liber !

  • @irishgodfather13 finally some one knows the truth they are the same god damn team just with a diffrent flag they go under and name they train together

  • @irishgodfather13 > It's a kids thing to say; "Detla is the best" of "SAS rulez". Let them be kids, when they get older they will understand.

The fact is, if you meet Delta, SAS, SBS, Seals or SF and you are standing on the wrong side of the gun, they will get you!!!

  • @irishgodfather13 Delta force got there Techniques from the SAS. So Both are Equally Talented.

  • Im british and it makes me laugh the way that every youtube keyboard warrior thinks the SAS are 'BEST' Special Operations unit in the world, they are only taking into account a quater of the UKSF and for one SBS selection is tougher, longer, and mentally challenging more than SAS and two most of these youtube warriors haven't even heard of SRR or 18 Signals Regiment. All SpecOps units do totally different things, armed forces need versitillity. Delta, SBS, SAS, Seal Team 6 they are all uniqe!

  • If I wasn't a pussy I'd so join the ARMY. Much love from an American Patriot to all our troops. Come back home safely.

  • Delta Force is the best

  • @Alex8365 Don't be silly. They had no long range commitments in Iraq hence why the first troops over the border in their LRPV's were the Australian SASR. The only ones on the front foot due to having those capabilities there and then. USSF units were assigned onto the SASR units, mainly JTAC's and whatnot to call in fast-air with no confusion. Don't kid yourself, every unit has capabilities and weaknesses. Every unit is different.

  • @SuperBuzzism You wouldn't know

  • lol when i saw 0:42 i though

    1. YAAA HOO

    2. WEEEEE

    3.COWABUNGAAAA

    4.AHHHHHHHH

  • honor*

  • women? women aren't allowed in most special forces in our Military let along Delta, just saying because of your description a tribute to honer the men and women of the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta.

  • Comment removed

  • @Nlrvana99 There are women in Delta as members of whats called the "funny platoon". There are also women in the Intelligence Support Activity, a sort of miniature paramilitary CIA for JSOC.

  • I saw this post today after hearing that a member of our group of gamers was killed in Afghanistan. I'm sad to hear of his passing. All who sacrifice their lives and time to protect the rest of us are hero's to me. Rest in Peace Dan.

  • Also- random fact. I have a friend who went into CAG. He finished their Selection Training and said that it was "the hardest thing I've ever done."- He said at one point he was taken to some remote place that the Instructors didn't reveal the name of- and he was forced to run down the face of a steep mountain.

  • @MistAndMidnightSky Actually now their know as the Army Compartmented Element (A.C.E, how fitting).

  • My heart misses Swift.

  • these guys are heros we can sleep at night because there out there protecting us

  • ZZZZzzzzzzz

  • @Quantrill71 your a bastard

  • Hahahaha It's so funny how everyone claims that this is better than that, this one is deadlier or whatever but have never been anywhere close to being a part of these units. Listen just respect the fact that there are and will always be brave warriors out there doing what others can't and won't. So out of respect to my fallen SOF Warriors "Remarks Complete". Lots of respect to the CF as well, everyone that fights for a cause bigger than theirs is a champion in my books.

  • does the CIA or secret service count as black ops

  • Every time delta operators are recognized their faces are covered up and they arent even called delta. They are called special missons unit or something else. I think their the best!!!!

  • I was a 19 Delta Recon(US Army Scout), I would have LOVED to train with these guys.Got to train with 10th SF Group in Bad Tolz Germany ,Man that was some GREAT training!

    SCOUTS OUT!!!

  • @HerbWalker Only army.

  • holla at my delta force niggas keep ya head up we goin get threw it

  • @mckinley1131 Uh...no.....just......no.

  • Seriously 2 people didnt like this?

  • women arent allowed in special forces dumbass

  • @jarrodsnell1994 They're not allowed to have an SF MOS but they are in intelligence, psyops and civil affairs specialties that are out there with them.

  • ...finally a video to video without COD Black Ops and Black Hawk Down references...The CIA SAD and Army Delta Force are little more covert than the SAS which sees more non-covert action due to its broad utility in british combat operations. Both forces are far more elite than any other force in the world.

  • This video has nothing to do with Delta, you might wanna change that description.. @Alex8365 I agree, they are the most elite, however people are stubborn to accept facts sometimes..

  • @SmokeyCough very true

  • i seriously doubt if there are any women in the spec-ops community. dont give credit where credit is not due.

  • @alabamaguy485 Women are allowed to serve in a "Special Forces" company, but cannot wear the green beret, as is only permitted by those who pass SF training, open to men only. The closest a woman gets is SERE or Sapper Leader, a grey or pewter green beret

  • @chrisxtr You are WAY off........

  • @pedinkus As I asked USAforLife, how do you know? Care to cite the source of your intel? As you know, lots of people here will spout info they don't have real facts on. som eof us were told things years ago, 15 in my case, that have changes substantially...

  • @chrisxtr Personal experience and U.S. Army regulations are my source. Dig a little and read.

  • @alabamaguy485 They're there...

  • where there are terrorist, there is delta.

  • God bless you people

  • God bless all the soldier's who kill the thing's that go bump in the night so American's can sleep soundly without fear or worry.

  • There aren't any women in any spec-ops or combat jobs.

  • @DeltaSharksTooth What's wrong with you the whole thing is SFOD-Delta.

  • how long would it take to become a delta starting after bootcamp?

  • @papasmurf530 you have to have four years under your belt to even be eligible, but they wont give you two shits if you arent at least a ranger or a green beret.

  • @mercturd85 Actually you do not have to be in any special ops. You can request to go to the selection course from any branch or MOS in the Army if you have at least 3 yrs in, are at least E-5 and not yet E-9 promotable for enlisted or at least O-3 and not yet O-5 promotable for officers and are able to re-enlist and be airborne qualified or volunteer for jump school. You have to be male but there are support units that include females who work very closely with Delta.

  • @pedinkus those are minimum requirements, thats like going to an interview for a very high paying job with many elligable and show up with the minimum requirements expecting to nail it

  • @mercturd85 It's nothing at all like an interview for a job. Those are minimum requirements to even try. You get no preferential treatment as SF or Ranger. You all start the selection course equal. You pass or you don't.

  • @jamesebarnum Well yeah I meant in general because he said it could be SAS. I meant like it could just be ARMY Airborne.

  • @RBFF123 Actually they are all wrong. This is all SFOD. Delta is a part of SFOD and SFOD in general is Special Forces. Now if those ignorant people down there think that it's SAS or Airbourne because they are parachuting, that is incorrect, because even Delta Force is used in airbourne situations.

  • @MilitaryFilms Ok so me saying it "could be" US ARMY Airborne since the video is US ARMY SFOD-Delta makes me ignorant. I also said some Delta members could have come from say the 101st or 82nd Airborne so they would know how to do parachuting.

  • @MilitaryFilms Actually You are wrong as well... I served with 1st.(SFOD-D) - (CAG) When you say that "Delta is a part of SFOD" that show's me your level of knowledge on what ODA's, B teams, SFOD-D, and CAG is. "SFOD" is simply "Special Forces Operational Detachment." It doesn't mean "Delta" or "Special Forces in general" Where are you getting your information from? Our main focus is "Counter Terrorisim." You should educate yourself if you feel the need to post answers about "Special Forces."

  • @CGPAryan Did you really? Which squadron were you in?

  • @MilitaryFilms well according to Inside Delta Force, Eric L haney, SFOD-D shares the name with SFOD-Alpha (special forces) but they do not share a chain of command. good book by the way, i highly recommend it.

  • Do SFOD-D use SWAT helmets or Kevlar?

  • delta force use mostly mh6 littlebirds for they mission deployments.

  • im going to be apart of delta some day

  • 2:13 YES HOOAH to that.

  • One thing wrong in the description. Women aren't allowed in the 1st SFOD-D.

  • @wafflecushioned They are there but they don't get any of the recognition. They are in "support" roles that happen to be just as dangerous as the "real" operators.

  • ya bad ass video!! Loving that track by moby as well good job!!

  • Pretty sure this isnt delta force... Their an elite spec ops unit, they dont make no fucking vids for youtube.

  • Actually i dont think these guys are Delta Force. SOF guys are not allowed to be photographed.. If they are their faces must be skewed.

  • The very best along with DEVGRU.

  • I heard the US government don't recognize the Delta Force so they are really black ops. that true?

  • @roykuo4 all branches and divisions are recognized by the US government. if they weren't, they would be paramilitaries and recognized as an enemy within the states.

  • @MilitaryFilms no the us government does not recognize delta force as delta force they recognize them as 1st-sfod

  • @amityahalom A.C.E nowadays.

  • @MilitaryFilms

I disagre,I think we might actually never knew they existed, all we know is that delta force, green berets and devgru are the only us special forces we know

  • @JRFOXHOUND75th No; Delta Force, Devgru, 24th STS, SEALs, Green Berets, PJ's, Force Recon Army Rangers.

  • @MilitaryFilms CIA is paramilitary..... so no.

  • @MilitaryFilms can you please find the documents that recognizes delta?( budget, press interviews?) didnt think so

  • @mercturd85 They aren't known by "Delta Force", they have been recognized before and are known as CAG (Combat Applications Group).

  • @MistAndMidnightSky son, your preaching to the choir.

  • @MilitaryFilms not true there are other tiers and operators who work for the security of the US but are not under the governments control... please learn your facts and go join the military fuck head

  • @MilitaryFilms A paramilitary group is not considered an enemy in the State, the FBI HRU, and CIA SAD are paramilitary unites.

  • @roykuo4

I think what you mean is that they deny delta force. The reason for that is that they don't want people to know the most civilized country in the world has a group of government assassins.

  • @roykuo4 Delta operations are classified, but they are not black ops.

The majority of Black ops are carried out by the CIA. (Iran/Contra affair)

  • @roykuo4 they are recognized by our government but most of their operations are not..they are most definately on the dark side

  • @roykuo4 1SFOD-D is a "tier-1" CT/SMU. I think 'black ops' takes it a bit far; CIA SAD does most of that.

  • @usafwings09 yup!

  • @usafwings09 I was told, "Tier 1" refers to a level of target, like Osama Bin Laden. Operators are not ranked, as each group; CIA SAD, Delta, Devgru/Team 6, SF, etc. are tasked with specific areas of geography and expertise. Devgru/T6 are Hostage rescue teams, CIA SAD are used for rendition, etc. SF/Rangers and Seals (1-5) are not considered CT, but can be tasked with CT operations. Delta are selected from all branches and usually tasked with operations, like snatch & extract tier 1 targets.

  • @chrisxtr HVT's can be classified in this manner. Aidid was one such tier-one target. However, 1SFOD-D/DEVGRU are indeed Tier-1 CT units, which are also known as Special Mission Units (SMUs). Look it up. :)

  • @usafwings09 "Look it up"... hard to do, most of the info available is not trustworthy.

How do/did you get your info? not that I'm doubting you..."Trust, but verify"

  • @chrisxtr No it isn't Tiers are assigned to groups based on their level of skill and the sort of operations they do.

  • @usafwings09 No Tier 1 are black ops units.

  • @roykuo4 the part about being black ops? 100 percent true...read Inside Delta Force the book and it tells you all about their names being put in a special database and they have a cover unit for their base...

  • @roykuo4 You are thinking of Seal team 6, which was disbanded and later reunited into DEVGRU - the current equivalent.

  • 0:43 - 0:46 is SAS. Apart from that, most of ithe shit shown is done by most special forces . But then again, I wouldnt want a war against Delta. They may not quite be as well trained as SAS, but both are formidable, and Im thankful that we are on the same side. May Brits and Yanks be forever allies :) And best wishes to ALL US, UK and other Coalition forces around the world in Afghan, in Training and in the Future. Amazing video. Amazing song, Straight forward: AMAZING!

  • @Minitrolune thanks for being a patriot.

  • @Minitrolune Might wanna rethink that. I don't know if it is in fact SAS but I know a lot of Delta are Airborn Rangers too, this is ARMY so it could be 101st Airborn.

  • @Minitrolune Might wanna rethink that. I don't know if it is in fact SAS but I know a lot of Delta are Airborne Rangers too, this is ARMY so it could be 101st Airborne.

  • @Minitrolune Delta is the most elite force in the world even over SAS. Now in no way am I knocking SAS I have a huge amount of respect and admiration for anyone at that level. But Delta is THE Unit.

  • @Alex8365

Please back your comment up and actually tell us what makes Delta better than SAS. Anyone can make a claim but the SAS have the missions under their betl, wrote the book on SF and are rewriting it as we speak. Delta has not done anything like the SAS and this is reflected by the real missions than can b seen on YT. The SAS schooled Delta in the early days and their selection is more brutal. I can bet that for every Delta mission you name, I can name 5 SAS missions my friend :)

  • @29Gixxer well you cant name any delta force operations because they are top secret. nobody knows what missions they do or were they do it. that what makes delta force better trained than sas. plus delta force is the best special operation force in the world. maybe if sas wasent documented so much then they would catch up to delta.

  • @rimacho14 Yes you can just go look up "Delta Force" on wikipedia.

  • @29Gixxer The SAS was only the first by like a year. Not really a substantial amount of time and.

  • @29Gixxer True...true. Now here's someone who knows the history without just popping off!

  • @Alex8365 very true

  • @Alex8365 Mossad?

  • @Alex8365 The only individuals who could make that call are the ones who have served in one or the other of those units and been lucky enough to be seconded to the other. In all probability CAG and DevGru have access to the latest technology far quicker than the SAS due to the US defense budget - but as to history and operational exposure given 1SFOD-D was only formed in 79/80 the SAS would have the edge.

  • @Alex8365 I'm an American veteran so I would like to agree with you but Delta was modeled after SAS and continue to be mentored by them. SAS is considered to be the "gurus" of CT.

  • @Alex8365 I totally agree man, but you have to give SAS so much respect as well. Delta was originally created in being an American SAS unit, since the American Special Forces community had seen the intense selection process for SAS.

  • @Minitrolune Super rare to see a Youtube Brit not full of hatred. Good on yah.

And I would agree, SAS are legendary. Delta was formed due to America not having a solid counter-terrorism unit like England.

  • @Minitrolune I would argue they are just as well trained, in some aspects better, some aspect worse. SAS has some strengths over the D-boys, and vice versa, for example. Delta would have the upper hand in airline hostage rescue, this is because Delta developed the first effective airline takedown, and later taught this to the SAS.

    US+UK forever!

  • @bigreddawg91

I agree with both having strengths and I think it's pointless arguing which is best. What I am interested in is what you say about Delta pioneering Airliner rescue as i heard this from another American? The SAS were showing the Germans how to fight on airliners in 1977 with the Lufthansa Flight 181 crisis:

    watch?v=8zS-kZmx9tI

Delta had not long been around back then mate.

  • @29Gixxer True sir. In fact, they weren't around yet at all. They got permission to form in 1978. There was an SF company training to do CT in case of an incident until Delta became operational. That SF unit was called Blue Light.

  • @bigred Where I do know Delta has an edge is in using dogs. Delta were called in to help train the SAS on using dogs in Afghanistan not long ago as the SAS has suffered a few deaths due to the opps they have had to undertake. The UK spends £3 billion on it's 1000 or so tier 1 SF and this was why even a few deaths is very costly to HM forces. The plan is to use dogs to go in and sniff out the taliban in the cavees like how delta does. It has allot less risk. UK actually awards medals to dogs :)

  • @29Gixxer dogs are actually common heroes. My friend in the corps was just telling me of the USMC's tradition since wwii, while the army got dogs specially trained, the USMC adopted dogs from the street, these dogs never abandoned them, and in korea there was an instance of a marine, who had been shot, being dragged out of the line of fire by his canine companion. Even today, when the USMC has the money to breed dogs, they don't, and instead rescue them from the streets and train them from there

  • @bigreddawg91 That is simply IMPOSSIBLE because Delta wasn't even operational yet when the SAS was teaching GSG-9 how to board aircraft in the 70s.

  • @Minitrolune

I think you are talking as a Brit without using your little brain which is typical for the Brits .

Irrespective of the country or race, the special forces of a nation is an elite bunch of men who would go to any length to do their duty for their country and cause. That should be appreciated by all.

  • @Minitrolune sorry but delta boys are better trained.

  • @rimacho14 Colonel Charles Beckwith was an exchange officer who worked with the 22nd Regiment SAS back in the early 70's. He envisioned a group of operators who could teach and do, who were hig!hly trained in Unconventional Warfare. Counter Terrorism and Direct Action missions would prove how important Delta would be to the security of the United States. The pentagon Brass did the right thing and now Tier 1 Operators train in a Multi-Million Dollar Facility. Best of the Best need apply!

  • @Minitrolune How would you know Delta Force and SAS are top secret black ops

  • @Minitrolune the SAS is trained by delta

  • @DWSOairsoft Wrong they cross train.

  • @DWSOairsoft Um....no. Delta was modeled after SAS and continue to train with them.

  • @Minitrolune Both are equally well trained, they cross train and operate with each other all the time.

  • Damn nice vid man

  • @carth101 thanks alot man. thank you for supporting the US and its Armed Forces. Please feel free to subscribe to my videos to see more tributes honoring our men and women who risk their lives fighting for us.

  • Excellent tribute my friend.

    Awesome footage and images.

    Great soundtrack, loved it.

    Thank you for the send.

    Absolutely 5 *s!
