I wonder what would happen if she took a candy. Quite scary story though. I live next to the biggest mad-house in whole state Im living in lol. :D I would take the candy for giggles lol =D
Sounds like no real skill was used in the event... if you argue that she used skill then you argue that striking someone once in the face is like rocket science and only those trained in such a discipline will commit the act. She popped him once, thats all folks, am I or anyone else suppose to be impressed? Only those who have little to no training obviouslly. Good for her, shame on the system claiming this is some sortof great training. Rare sense: dont goto your car in this situation.
I'm thrilled that this young womans skills saved her. However, I suggest that the first thing that anyone should be taught to do when he or she is approached by someone at an ATM is......hit the "CANCEL" button.
No one wakes up in the morning and says, "Today I am going to become a crime statistic."
I know I never said it. But one day, I found myself, face down in a mattress with a gun to the back of my head and I heard the trigger cocked.
Inexplicable.
So much later in my life, I teamed up with the 7 Time World Karate Champion, Johnny Gyro. He and his wife Noel are determined to take on the violent crime epidemic. I am determined to help them.
for some reason I have a strong feeling this story is full of shit. This account has not been used since posting this comment... praising yourselves gyros???

Candy? True story? No offense here but this sort of seems like a load. Most attackers from my experience won't stop if you just break their nose. Either way your message is good.
Actually, it is a true story, and that is why we are bringing it out for the public to hear. Women are abducted every day. This dvd is made from three people who have all been victims of violent crime and we are determined to help combat that head on. I understand and appreciate your perspective, but this girl is very brave and we wanted to spread her story to empower other girls to Live to Tell About It. Please pass this on to every mother you know... You might just save a life.
