I've always thought that Trey's tone was a lot like Pat Metheney's. You can't blame someone for finding a good tone, there are only so many out there.

The electric guitar was one of the best surprises of the new album. The guitarist in concert was different than the one on the album but it was great nonetheless. I do agree that it is different than her previous ones, but I like it better anyways.
It's a lot different than the other three. I think she was going for a more typically "jazzy" feel here. Or something. It's taken some getting used to, but it's still wonderful.
