for comparable quality, violins ARE cheaper than pianos. comparing stradivari to steinways is wrong because they simply aren't in the same class. there is no piano equivalent to a stradivarius.

if you REALLY do play a stradivarius, then either you are a maestro and should already know this, or else ignorant and undeserving of handling one. either way, you should be ashamed of yourself.

anyway yes, you're absolutely right, I'd forgotten about keyboards. if i wanted to be petty i'd argue that keyboards aren't real pianos, but as a beginner (and beyond), a keyboard is a perfectly credible instrument.

Yeah nowadays we are seeing Keyboards are being technologically improved to even match the sound of a Grand,,,but i dont believe we'll ever be able to do that, but i must say, Yamaha's Digital Grands are superb....in addition to its SUPERB sound, you have beats and accompaniments, just like in a synth...

@LauraPetrarca Il mio problema è che sono un'italiano, orgogliosamente italiano e il mio primo vagito è stato (W l'Italia), non mi interessa chi non ama il nostro paese, se non ti senti italiana sei sempre libera di emigrare. Se è vero che hai solo 22 anni sei giustificata perchè la colonna sonora di questo film è del 1968 e stranamente in italia i capolavori come questo sono presto dimenticati e la televisione non fa nulla per ricordarli ai giovani.
