Dude, ok. I've listened to a SHIT TON of aspiring metal vocalists, some of which have bands of their own. But never before have I seen a vocalist (you) and band (yours) with so much potential. I mean shit, you're already good enough to be signed, truth be told your music is a fuck of a lot better than some of this mainstream fuckery out there now-a-days, (Don't even get me started about Justin Bieber, this music makes him shit his self). then you must not be familiar with the band "as blood runs black." Bivins is exactly what they are NOT looking for. yes his voice is good, but he does only highs and lows. ONLY highs and lows. g o listen for yourself. chris blair their previous singer does high, lows, but mostly MIDS. bivins does no mids at all, and that is exactly what they want. therefore they will not even consider him. whudspath or cword have much better chance then bivins.

diary pretty much nailed it. it doesn't matter if bivins has mids in his covers. abrb will not even take 1 second to look at his covers. what matters is what you do with the song they released. and in that song he has 0 mids. which is a guarantee he won't make it. but i still keep saying, his highs and lows ARE good i wont lie... but he is not fulfilling the range required for abrb. you need to be able to scream WITHIN the whole range, not just the ends of the range.

their sound may have changed, but their style didn't. they remained the same. they are kind of a metalcore/progressive metal, they are pretty unique. BUT its only the vocalist sound that changed... not the guitars/drums. Bivins is straight up death metal in his air force one audition. and abrb is not death metal. they are hardcore/deathcore, which is a huge difference. Bivins vocals still rock, he'd be an awesome vocalist for six feet under or morbid angel, but not quite abrb.

oh and i recorded with rock band, but editted it with sony acid. im very used, so i opened it up through there for all the edittin/mastering
