Holy shit, this is one of the best songs I've ever heard. After seeing Drive I decided to look up more modern synth pop and stumbled upon The Knife, seeing as Heartbeats is considered one of their best singles I said "let's give it a try", but never expected such a perfect pop song.

@nbmatt Fair enough a lot of people such as myself, do think it was originally written by Jose until realising it was a cover, but I just don't understand why everyone seems to be hating on him due to the fact he took an electronical masterpiece such as this and make it his own unique, emotional and powerful Melody. It all just seems a little childish from where I am standing, since both are amazing in their own right, just does not make sense to slander a talented musician, without good cause.

@ShaneyQua I can't speak for anyone else that dislikes his version, but the reason I don't like it is because he seemed to miss the "point" of the song. The way he sings is too sad when the it should be uplifting. I'm very aware that this is a matter of personal preference and opinion, so I don't want it to seem like I don't respect him as an artist. I guess it all just boils down to what arguments about music usually always boil down to -- common people like common music.
