  • I heard someone say he has a split personality disorder as well... the glasses at the end looked like a switch to me.

  • "motorcycles" ADD kicked in

  • I would by a dvd of him randomly talking about anything for 2 hours.. Dam i'd even go cinima and pay... infact i'd even buy front row ticked to him talking at a stadium... Music is dead long live Gary Busey

  • The part at the end with the glasses is gold!

  • I like Gary But too much Drugs so sad ...

  • @pijodi it was the cocaine and that shit that the doctors gave him after his head injury when he fell off the motorcycle without the helmet, he got brain injury...anyway, hes still the man

  • Hes lilke that cuz he got into a motorcycle accident and has permanent brain damage due to that

  • Narcisstic Sociopath!!

  • Its called Aspergers syndrome. Did you see the way, at 1:36, he points out the motorcycles as they passed?

"every letter that makes up a word has an emotion"(at :43) This is classic dyslectic compensation.

"Ever letter that makes up a word has an emotion...He created visions for readers before they read his stuff...." Major classic dyslectic fantasy. Cant read well but able to get vibes from the newspaper laying on the floor.

  • can you elaborate on this? I'm interested in what you mean.

  • Just messing around a bit. An eloquent force of nature.

  • Dont let Gary fool you. When he needs some personal therapy, some getting back to level ground and roots, he flys back to Texas and shovels Pig Shit on his uncles farm.

Or just tosses an interviewer off the balcony.

  • he is so disconnected. it's frightening to think about where busey will be in 10 years.

  • Gary Busey is somewhat more sane than the idiots who call him "crazy".

  • thank you!

  • @Hania454 Hey Gary!

  • busey done lost his mind.

  • @StrappedGypsy I love it when he talks about ''hunter did it eloyently---motorcycles---in his book describes...'' or ''hunter can show his details---*takes of glasses* Hello, nice to see ya'' LOL

  • Gary Busey always speaks in a general sense, he's crazy.

  • I agree funky side of cake. there is something missing from his intentions. then again, i feel he is speaking of hunter on a humanist level rather than a literary one. Go figure, describing hunter is an artform in itself.

  • i'm starting to agree with some of the comments here. did gary even read anything of hunters? he's just so vague and doesn't really talk about anything specific about him. which is sad in a way, i'd think of gary different

  • Ughhh Duh!! Yeah, he's just high. Other than that he's just a overly, verbal, eccentric!

    I like him............

Call me crazy too ;) I guess.

    Hunter is Bomb Gonzo!

    KJO

  • The buse is so eloquent gota love the buse and HS Thompson RIP somebody will figure it out for us Hunter.

  • Gary Busey is 10 shades of crazy....

  • No. Gary is really saying nothing. His sililoquey on sililoquey is nothing more than trying to explain writing in general. I'd like to know what he has to say about Hunter, but apparently, this thing doesn't do it. Remember, Gary is also a very intense individualist himself. IE: His words dont always translate well, even though he may be saying something. Genius?...nah.

  • motorcycles

  • Busey speaks directly to the core of ones creative freedoms...Like "him" or not...The guy is dead spot on the money

  • how are you so sure of that, couldnt he be just as well be spraying shit mist into your eyes

  • honestly busey isnt just spitting craziness out , if you listen with an open mind it all makes complete sense. hes a genius

  • NICHT WEITERLESEN!!! Wenn du diesen Text NICHT kopierst,

    und

ihn in 7 anderen Videos einfügst, stirbst du innerhalb

von einem Jahr qualvoll! Tust du dies dagegen, dann wirst

    du

in den nächsten 7 Tagen von etwas schönem

    überrascht

  • i have taken lsd about a hundred times. a heightened acceptance of otherwise alarming strange circumstances.

  • HAUNTING WORDS MAN!

  • I would be too WAY paranoid to get high with this dude. You know he'd have to peer over his shades at you at some point...and there would be an uncomfortable silence...plus the feds are undoubtedly watching him now, since he's stated on record that 9/11 was an inside job. Which it was. But still...scary.

  • movie version of "fear and loathing" doesnt come close to giving the novella justice. It might be entertaining but on a very basic level. The book however is pure fucking gonzo madness, and a true tour de force Salah

  • gary busey is my anti drug

  • lol

  • My hero. RIP.

  • Fear & loathing in Las Vegas was one of the worst movies I have ever seen....this guy wasn't even close to being a genius

  • It was a book before a movie, first (Thompson didn't make the movie). Second, the book is considered an American classic. Though, I suspect you're nothing more than an attention-seeking troll.

  • he helped edit the movie u dumbass

  • Incidentally, nowhere is it stated that Hunter Thompson helped to edit the movie "Fear & Loathing...". He apparently had *nothing* whatsoever to do with the editing of the FILM. So, you're wrong about that one. Where did you get your information (as it's incorrect)? Thompson himself pretty much admitted that he knew little to NOTHING about the whole filmmaking process. He helped to edit his *BOOKS*, of course, NOT the movie.

  • Books and movies, you know, are not the same, in case that wasn't as abundantly obvious as it seems to a functioning mind.

  • indeed

  • your gay

  • one of the best movies i have ever seen

  • does anyone knows if the story fear and loathing in las vegas is true or his a representation of a episode of hunter s. thompson's life? thanks in advance

  • Yes, Hunter and his attorney Oscar Acosta did in fact make that journey to Las Vegas. I'm sure he changed some details for obvious reasons and who knows what is 100% true.. but for the most part yes, it happened.

  • Oh my god!

  • one two three six

  • Oh sweet Jesus. Who is is this fence post, trampling over legends?

He could be talking about Bugs Bunny, the only interesting part was when I really thought he had died just before the end.

  • Yeah, it seems pretty clear to me that Busey probably never read Thompson. He's really really vague and general about HST's writing. He was his friend maybe, but not a reader. Busey does look like he's ready to schiz out any second. Or punch the fucking director/interviewer.

  • Hunter S. Thompson and Gary Busey. Two peas in a pod.

  • Oh holy moly...after doing my psych rotation, I can recognize now, schizophrenia. How this guy made it so far up the Hollywood ladder, I'll never know.

  • no, thats definitely not poetry lol. He's trying to appear smarter than is...mostly likely for defense reasons because Gary Busey is totally insane / on crack / paranoid.

    VIVA HUNTER!!!

  • I agree, in this interview the way he describes Hunters writing is hilarious. It sounds like he's only ever read a Hunter book and he's describing what it felt like to be interested in a book. Hah. ALL good authors create imagery with their writing.

  • his words are almost poetic...its insane!

  • I do think the remarks about writing visually are precise. Good writers are a dime a dozen. But a writer who can put you in a place and time and give you the vision of being there -- well, that is a gift that you don't find often.

  • This is like when you try to BS your way through a bookreport on a book you never read. I doubt this guys never read a book in his life, except maybe one of those military survival books. "Utah, make it two !"

  • Huh? You doubt this guy never read a book in his life? That statement sort of rules out your previous sentences.

  • he isnt taking about buseys literacy hes coommenting on how hes describing hunter

  • I see what you mean.

He's gone blank on what he wants to say because he doesn't have the slightest idea what to say.

Then again...this IS Gary Busey we're talking about.

    lol

  • hunner!

  • was that a UFO in the backround?

  • Busey is fu*king with the director and the director becomes his bitch. Great stuff.

  • Motorcycle (points), Gary Busey is insane, i love him.
