i have an AVET mxj 5:8 , its full of 360meter of 30lb braid , is 360 meter of braid is enough for jigging , and the max depth i jig at is 150 meter , so is it enough ?
Hey I'm a new fisherman and I'm really interested in doing this stlye fishing. I just bought a benthos williamson vertical jig and I was wondering what's the best way to attatch this to my line on my spinning reel? I have a swivel and snapp already tied to the line so should I just attach leader to the jig and make a loop to put on the snap? Or just tie the leader straight to the line with like a bimini twist? Thanks.
I just got me 2 new Katana vertical jigs from Eastern Tackle. Can't wait to use them this weekend out of Charleston, SC. Hope to catch Grouper and ARS with it. I have mine on 30lb mono with double leader 50lb braid
Do you have to slow down during the winter months?

@Malan35 I would use a biminy twist or another line joining knot

Those AJs sure love those vertical jigs! I usually use the williamsons (dang shimano jigs cost too much).

Nice video -- If you look closely you can see how the guy in the visor cleverly tricks the fish. Just not fair
