Megatron did become a transmetal 2. In the show it showed three transformers who become transmetal 2 after being exposed to the transmetal driver. The toys did label Meagatron and TigerHawk as transmetal 2.

Cheetor looks like that because he got part of the transmetal 2 that megatron made. The guy at 1:25 is a remake of dinobot only hes bad. Optimus got that huge form becasue he took the spark from the original optimus from the ark.

megatrons form only changes when his spark is merged, it never shows him using the driver on himself
