  • thumbs up if you found out what a ocelot was after seeing mediatakeout saying drake bought one

  • The epic music was very necessary.

  • Your pretty go...COUGH* oh sorry snake hang on one sec hair ball COUGH*

  • none of our cats EVER get furballs :D 1 is complete siamese and the mother of the other 2, one is pursian and siamese, and the other is just a ally cat with siamese...

  • Cats also eat grass to aid in the process. Helps them cack up the bad stuff.

  • I've had the misfortune of stepping in my cats hairballs while walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night -.- i can't imagine how big a mess that is....Uber hairballs. ick

  • i worry about it choking them while they are trying to cough it up

  • nothing like suspense music to watch a big cat harfin'!

  • lololololol

  • very dramatic xD

  • lol! the ocelot doesnt like the food that you gave :(

  • god, that can't feel good. doesnt look good either.

but as long as it keeps them healthy :)

  • invisible female ocelot XDDD

  • that's nasty

  • I have a bulimic cat. She eats, throws up, eats again.

Whenever she starts making hacking sounds, half a dozen cats rush to her side, ready to devour the warm meal she's about to serve.

Sorry. Just felt I had to share that. (;^)

  • Nice, like a furry, purring microwave :)

  • @BigCatRescue

I laughed so hard at that comment XD

  • Nice, like a furry, purring microwave :)

  • could somthing be wrong with your kitty? it's not normal. my cat is having the same problem because her digestive system is under 'trauma' because she swallowed a ribbon for 2 days before vomiting it out. the vet has placed her on a special diet and medication because it's rather serious :(

  • mydudette,

Thank you for your concern for my "bulimic" kitty.

But she's fine. She doesn't vomit as long as she eats her special food. But she'll sneak and eats other cat food and that's when she throws up. She's perfectly healthy otherwise.

She's eight pounds of pure bitch. She bites me, then licks the wound she inflicted, blood and all. Then she purrs - and bites me again. Silly witch owns my heart. (;^)

    Thanks for caring about cats!

  • She probably likes the blood.

  • Mine is allergic to beef. She can eat pork and fish based products, but anything with beef causes her that same vomiting issue.

  • That's nasty.

  • @CattyCatRanch One of my cats does the same thing. She'll eat and throw it up almost right away. Only it's our dog that rushes over for the pre-chewed/digested meal rather than our other cat.

Oddly enough, the cat that eats and then throws up is the heavier of the two (but not overweight). The one that demands food all the time (and doesn't shut up until she's fed) is incredibly bony (not anorexia bony, just very light and thin compared to our other cat) but the vet hasn't found anything wrong.

  • um. that was not funny.

  • That has to be unpleasant for them, My cat has them all the time and it looks painful.

  • Yeah it can't feel good really, but they must get used to the process of coughin' up the stuff they don't want in their system.

  • it looked like it was humping the ground. it looked funny

  • I know you can't help but laugh!

  • Sorry, but that looks like normal vomit. It looked like chunks and nowhere near the colour of his coat.

  • You might be right a few volunteers thought that too, there was definitely some fur in there though (with closer inspection).

  • eww it looks like its choking!

  • I know, I can't help but laugh every time I watch this! Poor ZzaZza!

  • I had to check the description on this one. I am usually pretty good at identifying wild cats but this one looked like a young clouded leopard. Very beautiful cat though. Say, Could you do a feature vid on the clouded leopard for me please? I know that they are very rare especially in captivity but perhaps you could use another facility's cat(s). I think they were raising a pair of cubs in Seattle a few years back. They said in that story that they couldn't release them so maybe? Thank you.

  • ground rape lol

  • He looks like he's humping something

  • lol i dont think ive ever seen my cat have a furball 0.o

  • when cats cough out fur balls its naturely cuz cats always clean themselves and their hair get into their stomach so after that hair turn into a 1 furball.

And stomach cant keep furballs so cat coughs it out.

    right?

  • its not cleaning them selves, its licking.

  • why did i just watch that? lol the music was INTENSE!!

  • I give my cays malt, it's very good!

  • mmmmmm, hair balls are such a pain for cats, my 2 lil boys get brushed daily to spare them and my floors

  • Poor kitty! but my cat doesn't cough up furballs.

  • I give my cats malt so no furball prblm.

  • that didn't look like fun.

  • awesome cat!

  • Beautiful cat. Yeah, there are things to do to help prevent fur balls on your domestic cats..frequent brushing is one good way especially when they are shedding. There are other home remedies and different medicine that you can put in their food and water that can help. Love the Big Cat Rescue!

  • eww poor kitty

  • Oh my I do feel better, lol It had to put a lot of effort into that. Peace and Love
