What he actually says is 'You'd get down below and you'd see.. molten steel, molten steel running down the channel rails.'
So Gross is actually supported by the video. Gross refers specifically to the allegation - 'I know of absolutely nobody, no eyewitness who said so'. There are no grounds for attacking him.

Molten metal was produced when ignition temperature was reached on the chips. You don't have to be a chemical engineer to understand that nano-aluminum is very hard to make and that was found in the dust.

But anyway molten metal is the byproduct when you heat the chips to ignition temperature. The presence of nano-aluminum would also inform you that it is very hard to make and only a sophisticated chemical manufacturer could make such a thing. Do you understand now? The presence of these chips indicates foul play.

For example, the energy density of the red/grey chips does not correspond with any known nanothermite - and this is a problem, since nanothermite is limited, by the physical properties of small AL particles, to levels which are well understood to be lower than that of Jones' chips.

Boiling point of steel is actually somewhere around 3,000C, with melting point at 1,500C (for comparison temperature at the tip of a match is about 400C, temperature of burning kerosene is about 300C).
To VAPORIZE steel takes temperatures you'd find in the center of a nuclear explosion.

Molten aluminum was also found at WTC3-6 sites, "dripping down the walls". There's sufficient testimony to distinguish one from the other. Even molten aluminum would be extraordinary to persist for *weeks*.

Indeed the fires - and overall damage - in those buildings were substantially more severe than 1,2 or 7 were ever exposed to: many were completely engulfed and partially collapsed (see clips of WTC5), many were almost completely destroyed (see aerial photos of WTC4-6).
They stood regardless. None showed any signs of collapse of persistence of high temperatures.

I read and see all these references to molten metal and thermite, just so you understand, not that it will change anyone's mind...but thermite is simply burning metal..an oxide of one metal like steel (which if you don't know the oxide of steel, is "rust" or ferrous oxide) and another metal powder like aluminum....the impact force of a 747, filled with JP8 (Jet fuel) is enough to ignite this reaction.....and the reaction can produce temperatures of 4500 degrees.......

For example - the microspheres are imbiquitous(spelling) in all known WTC dust samples. If this were local to the impact areas, this wouldn't be the case.
Another example - The size of the microspheres. (nano, one scale down from micro.) Look into this. Could not have been formed from a "natural" reaction. Such reaction cannot produce nano scale spheres.

What he actually says is 'You'd get down below and you'd see.. molten steel, molten steel running down the channel rails.'
So Gross is actually supported by the video. Gross refers specifically to the allegation - 'I know of absolutely nobody, no eyewitness who said so'. There are no grounds for attacking him.

@AlienEntity1 If you watched the video, test were done on the dust taken from the world trade center. Red, grey chips were discovered in the dust. Molten metal was produced when ignition temperature was reached on the chips. You don't have to be a chemical engineer to understand that nano-aluminum is very hard to make and that was found in the dust.

But anyway molten metal is the byproduct when you heat the chips to ignition temperature. The presence of nano-aluminum would also inform you that it is very hard to make and only a sophisticated chemical manufacturer could make such a thing. Do you understand now? The presence of these chips indicates foul play.

First of all...ignoring ALL comments. I am not an antigovernment nut or conspiracy theory advocate. I have watched numerous videos and listened to numerous explanations of the twin tower and WTC building 7 collapses. I have to say, with no bias to any person or party or political faction, science proves to me that two jet planes could not do the damage that the world observed on 9/11. I am as open minded as they come, but I don't believe this was accomplished by plane crashes alone.

This video is completely misleading. Gross never denies molten steel, he denies MOLTEN STEEL. To date, no one has produced the existence of molten steel at ground zero, and with all due respect to firefighters, they do not have the experience to know if what they saw was steel or not. It could have been aluminum, plastic, etc.
Just because conspiracy theorists want it to be steel doesn't mean it is. Moreover, molten steel would not prove a CD or thermite theory.

Based only on this vid, I really admire John Gross. John's first question to the guy asking about molten steel: "have you seen it?" where upon the guy says no, but there are videos...ouch! John took that guy out with one question!
I'm sure that John also knew the thermal images show 1350F MAX, not 2800F.
I have to say John was more patient and polite than I would have been. He just calmly gave them plenty of room to make complete fools of themselves.

Boiling point of steel is actually somewhere around 3,000C, with melting point at 1,500C (for comparison temperature at the tip of a match is about 400C, temperature of burning kerosene is about 300C).
To VAPORIZE steel takes temperatures you'd find in the center of a nuclear explosion.

That's quite a stretch. Again, shouldn't you know it takes at least 800C before steel can even be forged into a shape? Less of all 1,500 before it can be poured.

Fires don't melt steel. They certainly don't heat it up so much as for it to persist for weeks. Think about it.

There's really no debate to be had here, the fires burned for months, and the molten steel persisted for weeks, at only *three* sites of all the fires that day in WTC, and all of the fires we've ever known, of the only steel buildings in history and on that day to collapse from fire.
The question is: is there any evidence this is normal?.. (Not even close...)

NIST estimates jet fuel burned off in the first 15 minutes of the fire. I'm inclined to agree with them.
I assure you kerosene doesn't burn for weeks, nor at temperatures sufficient to melt steel (300C tops).

Yes. Red-hot in this case is about 1,000C. That's about a thousand degrees higher than what you'd expect after a month of pouring cooling solution into the rubble.

@blueshadow1996 The testimony presented here, and elsewhere, specifically attests to molten steel. There's not enough of any other metal in the building, and molten steel can be distinguished by its orange (or white, as you said), glow, in word of witnesses, "like in a foundry", "like lava".
Molten aluminum was also found at WTC3-6 sites, "dripping down the walls". There's sufficient testimony to distinguish one from the other. Even molten aluminum would be extraordinary to persist for *weeks*.

@blueshadow1996 Oh yeah, partially molten concrete and steel were also found at other various fire sites, such as WTC6's "meteorite". Indeed the fires - and overall damage - in those buildings were substantially more severe than 1,2 or 7 were ever exposed to: many were completely engulfed and partially collapsed (see clips of WTC5), many were almost completely destroyed (see aerial photos of WTC4-6).
They stood regardless. None showed any signs of collapse of persistence of high temperatures.
