He happened to be my 14 year-old son who was pitch-perfect with some musical talent but never having enough time for practice.... due to school work. You are obviously one who understands music and appreciates good music-making, performances...etc...Thanks for your comment.

I liked it very much. I agree they were both geniuses, very talented composers. I heard the "Military Polonaise" when I was in school as a young teen, and fell in love with it immediately. I also have heard Tchaikovsky's "Sleeping Beauty" many times and the Nutcracker, and both are extraordinarily beautiful.

This man really SINGS every note in every voice. And the ebbing and flowing of the tempo/absolute control is breathtaking. The PIECE is breathtaking. I love the way he shapes the arpeggios. My god! Liszt is a consummate genius.
