  • Hey this is BRILLIANT I've been wanting to do this for so long now I've collected up a few a lot of chips like an AT28C64E eeprom and I've been messing with it. I can't seem to get it so I can put in an address and have the data come out from the I/O to leds they just blink when I mess with wires. But anyway I am ranting. I hope to post a video of what I am doing but for now I must go.

Great video and computer I've seen all the pics of it.

  • Where did you get hold of the ym chip ? I'm building a 80's era home computer based around the z80, but I'm stuck on finding the "custom" chips, ie. the sound chip and a 320x200 something graphics chip ...

  • amazing.

  • :D Thats just excellent. More!

  • That's brilliant. How did you manage to learn about all of this ? College ?

  • @aljoshabre Some of it I learned in college, the rest came from a whole bunch of experimentation and from reading LOTS of datasheets.

  • @74hc595 +1 for datasheets
