I've seen Bad Brains shows since 1983 and HR started to get hit or miss by the mid to late 80"s. Still rocking but at a show at the old Ritz in NYC around  Christmas '84 the band was already on stage starting a reggae song w/out him late they played for a few minutes and it seemed like he had just gotten there. Winter coat and scarf on and just walked onstage and grabbed the mic and they all just fell into the first song. Dr. Know gave him a killer look but they rocked on

he did th same thing with his hands in his pocket when we seen them at the house of blues in anaheim in 07 when they first got back together and started touring it was bad ass though for me as a bad brains fan seeing them, its up their with seeing the rolling stones

That show was too sick!! It kinda sucked how HR just kept his hands in his pocket the whole performance. It was funny when someone yelled out "wake the fuck up HR!", and then, "drink some fucking coffee old man!". Pretty disrespecftful if you ask me... but someone had to say it. DR KNOW is a damn beast! Bad ass show, best show of the night IMO, and sublime is my fav band...

The mosh pits wer evil too!! I just wish someone would post footage of some of the punk songs they played.
