yes it does, thats why being a sniper is getting even harder and the requirements are rising to keep up with future warfare demands

There is thermal netting that can be built in to your ghillie; although it is not 100 percent effective

An easier way to cam your boots is to strap an elastic band around them and stuff vegetation into them to secure it to your boot. Did it with my tabi, worked like a charm.
