@MegaLacy1 i cannot answer for everyone but some cases it just may be stupidity , a person being stubborn or for reasons unknown. From experience i was a fool and told myself "this is not some fake love movie its real life and i will not go and chase her down" even though she was and still is my world. She told me if i showed i still cared she would have stayed with me. To this day (over 2yrs ago) i regret being stubborn about it and now i moved to Japan and my chance has passed.
