  • For anybody that is interested there is a new book out based on the Farah PRT. "Words in the Dust" is a novel by former soldier Trent Reedy who helped to establish the Farah PRT and was with the first group of 19 soldiers into Farah in 2004. You can find the book in book stores or on amazon, the audio book will be released in Jan/Feb 2012.

  • Building an economic base for the next Afghanistan means including everyone especially women who have been seemingly invisible in this nation for the last few centuries. Small steps in a long journey, but judging from the report and the response, the progress is inexorable and the benefits (for all Afghans) immense. Thanks for sharing.

  • @dweeborama , what the hell are you talking about? Women were gaining the most influence, opportunity, in the afghan society in the 60,70's , and 80's until ussr and usa used afghanistan as a battlefield for their stupid ideology of communism and capitalism.. they couldn't fight eachother , they were too pussy to fight .. so they used afghansitan as a playground. All this domestic problems of afghanistan is due to America.. People have grown up as war children , it will take 100 years to fix.

  • @dweeborama , , imagine 35 years of war in New york.. millions killed .. most highly educated people of society systematically killed by soviets. IT will take u 100 years to fix new york back up by high school dropouts and war children. criminals on the loose.
