Does the car wedge into the stairs or just pop out? You might have the newer version of GTA3. Mines the oldest one which I bought when it first came out. the newer versions of games they patch all these bugs and release them..

it's my cheap ass capture device. I need to find one that doesnt need software or has it built-in so I can plug it in right out of the box and it works. and one that has a video stabilizer so I can back up my VHS tapes.

I think the PC version looks better but the PS2 version you can control better. I wish there was a way to use a PS2 controller for PC games like some sort of USB to PS2 adaptor.

I thought the PS3 controllers use bluetooth or some form of wireless communication and the USB port is for charging. If there was a type of mod to use a PS3 controller on a PC then I'd go that way but the controller feels weird. Played GTA IV on PS3 and it was weird b/c the controls are nothing like GTA on PS2 unless u can change them.

@coondogtheman1234 You need the program called "MotionJoy" and even though they recommend using a bluethooth bundle thingy, you can just connect it to the PC with the charging cable. /watch?v=clLeS8ibhT0 for a tut (there's a link in the description). I use it for dirt 3, batman: arkham asylum and other games. Also if the game has xbox 360 support, the only thing you need to do is set the mode to emulate a xbox 360 controller and it will work without any need to customize the controls.

If I could be in the car while this happened I would. Sadly the glitch only works out of the car. and jumping on top of the car only triggers the Character's "jump out of the way" animation.

It's kind of random really since it's a glitch. You kinda have to play around with it, trying the car in different spots. I'd say put the front bumper maybe 3-4 steps from the bottom. I'll try your idea but I can only get it to work in PS2 version. I have GTA3 on the PC now and I don't think this works on PC version.

i did this, and then i went to go get that cop car thats near by so it would shoot it. well i accidently put the car in the stairs first. so as i went to the cop car it was charging. when i got back it was going 10x the speed of this car when it shot off. it will kill you even with full hooker health (125 (or was it 115? i forgot)) and 100 armor. tried to make a video but it takes a LONG TIME for it to blast off when you do that. like 15 minutes. the first accidental time was quick. check it out
