If you support Iggy or the socialist NDP (I won't even mention the Greens) then you have enough issues to deal with before you criticize the Conservatives. Canada has been doing great since they've been in office and is coming out of the worst international recession in better condition than any other country. Vote for who you like but pretending the Conservatives are a bad choice is a petty joke that the country won't fall for.

There is something to be said for his wife's reactions to this as well. She appears to have to placate him right at the end...he says "That was a miscue" ...she says "No,no...." as if talking to a spoiled child who may throw a tantrum if things don't go his way....look deeper into this little 18 second gem that is more telling than it appears to be by just watching it once and dismissing it as nothing.

Harper announced today that he would NOT be taking questions from local media while on the campaign trail.

Please note: The key word in this statement is the word 'LOCAL' ~ as you know, sadly not all Canadians know though, that Mr. Harper t...ravels with and coddles his own hand picked media groupies ~ don't expect this man to EVER be transparent enough to answer real questions by alternative journalist or just every day people without using a script.

@wheelzwheela It may not seem like a big deal, but real situations, questions and discussions require being in the real, honest, 'now' moment ~ not a pre-rehearsed, pre-crafted and pre-scripted, staged moment designed to make you appear more confident and knowledgeable than you really are.

There are truths in 'real time' moments that can not be disguised ~ I believe, in my humble opinion, that it is this truth that Mr. Harper fears most.

I didn't see this happening on TV so I only have the clip that we are watching to go by, but it seems to me he is being introduced or something and probably the guy doing the introduction hadn't finished his intro and Harper thought that he was done. If you want to talk about scripted stupidity just watch those video's of Ignatieff and his "drones" laughing at the reporters questions search "Ignatieff and Drones laughing on queue" tell me that is not fake.

There's been many a story about them, just as many as all the scandals to come out of this PMO. @17moon7 I was merely commenting of this particular clip, far be it for me to sit here and defend everything decision the Harper gov't has made just as I wouldn't expect you to defend the Liberals (I assume you are a Liberal supporter). This clip at least to my estimation is really nothing, not even worth mentioning.
