  • u call that breakfast

  • i make better scrambled egg than them

  • when i went they gave u pineapples-_-

  • @Left4Died interestingly, I've never had pineapples at ours!

  • im sorry im from the UK, how do you guys serve eggs? ive never seen anything like that :S

  • @DesignRec These are scrambled, but it's a weird way that food service makes it in large batches.

  • It looks so good I wish they had this where I live. Thanks for sharing!

  • @echojade88 you're welcome

  • looks really good.

  • Awww yeeeeaaah! why can't they have this at every mcdonalds?!

  • @MissLindsayWong I know, right? I don't get why they can't test 'new' items that they do in other states/countries to see if they do well.

  • ew mingin

  • wtf is SPAM?

  • @lopilop177 spam is canned meat that taste really good in my opinon.

  • 1:00 you can say that again

  • I wish we had the white rice option in Georgia. but the SPAM...never tried it.

  • Who is gonna eat rice in the breakfast?

  • @CookingandCrafting YOU ARE AWESOME!

  • wow that looks good

  • I LOVE IT! Some of my family are from there! Love that they stick to the culture.

  • Looks good.

  • looks disgusting

  • i tried this when i went to hawwai all of its really nasty except for the rice.

  • @awsomeness657 spam and rice!

  • too much rice!

  • Now this is my kind of breakfast. Xd

  • -shrill voice- I guess we'll just have the Eggs, Rice, Spam and Portuguese Sausage without the SPAM! That can be done!

  • it looks like dinner, for something like this is too much for breakfast

  • @loveeehk It is for most people! I think these are scaled for those working guys. Believe it or not there is an even bigger meal

  • @loveeehk It's a solid amount of carbohydrates and protein for active individuals. Better to eat it for breakfast than for dinner.

  • @loveeehk Actually, you're supposed to eat as much as possible at breakfast, eat moderately at lunch, and then eat very little at dinner.

  • @anythingnew i never knew that, thanks!

  • @DesignRec Yeah, so breakfast should be your dinner. It would make sense because you need fuel at the beginning of the day, not later when it's near bedtime. That's just gonna become fat.

  • Great video~!

  • @sandman19681012 Thanks :)

  • the rice replaced the pancakes.

  • @ki3t56 We still have pancakes and sausage :)

  • so you guys don't have pancakes? aww

  • @AbuBishir We have pancakes and sausage as well :)

  • Go damn all we can buy is dried muffin. I hate McDonalds breakfast seriously who go there to buy some muffin where da burger at mayn

  • Different! Thanks for sharing, interesting :)

  • @Sunshyne276 thanks :)

  • in indonesia the rice are more neat.

  • @Heraldiii its because they wrapped it in paper

  • @XColdEdgeSwordX LOL! You totally served him/her :)

  • @Heraldiii wrapped in paper, huh? Interesting. Do you have pictures posted? I would love to see?

  • @CookingAndCrafting hxxp://farm3.static.flickr.com/2345/2093525098_a8d7d6d63c.jpg

  • @Heraldiii ahhh yep, more rubbish in the dumps. Our McDonald's have started moving towards getting rid of as much packaging as possible, though ours was never wrapped in paper.

    Thanks!

  • that is so interesting! i'll have to go to a McDs the next time i visit hawaii =) i don't think we have anything very special at ours (in the wash. dc area)...but i did see something extraordinary at a belgiun mcdonalds...beer! lol...which they serve pretty much everywhere (the movie theater, the laundramat, in coke machines...)

  • @Hellzap0ppin Now THAT is cool! :)

  • i got that last time i was in hawaii, shit i eat that all the time here at home

  • @juki0h :)

  • Im chinese and have to say that looks bland and thats a shit load of rice

  • @electrum911 It is way too much rice.

  • Wtf XD rice at mcdonalds

  • @BBLT905 I know, right?

  • wow all that juss to let us kno wat ur area has in your mcdonalds

  • @TheBrittany68 all what? all one minute 24 seconds? Sorry I sucked so much of your precious time. You didn't have to click on the video.

  • Now I'm craving spam! lol I just got done wanting a big ass cream puff...:/ This is what happens when I watch your videos! haha. I love watching! :D

  • @MeliMe2 LOL!!!

  • @CookingAndCrafting haha...i finally had Spam the other day (bacon flavored...even better!) and I thought of this video while I was eating it...too funny..lol. What is it about processed meat byproducts that are just soooo unbelievably yummy?

  • @MeliMe2 Today I whipped up Spam fried rice using Hot & Spicy (Tabasco) ... not sure I liked it, but my brother smiled, dished up a second helping and was wiping the sweat off his face hahaha It is hot and spicy

  • Bleh...spam is gross.

  • @19Jones91 if you say so.

  • i'm from singapore and the breakfast in mcdonald is different we have hotcakes

  • @gracehongqiqi we have hotcakes too :)

  • thats the same menu at mcdonalds we have on guam.

  • @TROYTHEGAMER Cool!

  • I wonder if your spam is the same as the spam in a can that we get in the US. I'm not a fan of it myself, but yea. Just curious. Just started watching your videos love your sense of humor and style. Very entertaining videos :)

  • @RissyRawr you know hawaii is in the us right....

  • I'M FROM HAWAII! But I currently live in California. I really want that kind of breakfast, I mean screw the California menu, I'm sick and tire of McMuffins and stuff. I want rice, Portuguese sausage, Spam, scrambled eggs, saimen noodles, that's all I want! (sigh) I wish I want to move back where I was born in........

  • @nintendoandsega1990 Yeah it has to suck being away. I went to SF with my godson and we went in, expecting to find saimin. We were so fricken cold! They didn't have it. We wondered what kind of heathens we were surrounded by hahaha

  • @nintendoandsega1990 brah u tink u got it bad. i stay in kansas yea. plenty haloes.

  • @swagbucksgirl ........?

  • As if I needed another reason to visit Hawaii!! Spam at McDonalds...HEAVEN! LOL

  • @DaniDee09 LOL! Yes, come visit!

  • Are u from Honolulu??? I recognize kapalama elementary school in the back ground lol ^_^

  • @Smileyn56 yes :)

  • bet those are powder eggs, but who cares, id eat it. actually i eat this like once a day, i make it wll the time

  • @juki0h I suspect you are correct!

  • wow thats the 1st time i see McDonalds serving rice

  • @MegaPacman25 Interesting, right? I am so interested in the things that other McDonald's serve. Did you know that some sell spaghetti!?? I know! I'm amazed :)

  • That is allot of food. The platters here in Canada are tiny compared to yours.

  • @empriss80 yes, this is the deluxe platter, so it has way more than a usual breakfast.

  • @anmoose lol your so right!!!!!!

  • @anmoose lol your so right!!!!!!

  • @anmoose lol your so right!!!!!!

  • i love mcdonalds breakfast but i dont think i would eat breakfast at mcdonalds in hawaii lol. i am a bacon/sausage over easy egg- breakfast lover. I dont think i could handle spam and summersausage and rice for breakfast. but it doesnt look terrible its just not what i would eat for bfast. my husband and i tried to make spam slices fried with breakfast one day and it was terrible!

  • That looks so good. I would so eat that for breakfast and I'm not a spam girl I think I've only had it once or twice. Of course now reading you comments and seeing what it's made from I don't know if I could do it again lol. Now I find myself thinking rice for breakfast would be good. Sadly the only kind of rice I've ever made successfullyis the boil in the bag kind. Not the same at all : (

  • it doesn't look real appetizing but I love the fact that you show us the differences between your country and ours. tnx very much and have a nice day !

  • AWWW HELL NAW!!!! YOU JUST DIDN'T BRING OUT THE BIG GUNS!!!! THE DELUXE LOCAL PLATTER!!! I miss that!! You know I will be all over that when I get there!!

  • I never thought about making a quick fried rice from the ingredients on the platter until you mentioned it in one of your comments. Now, that's a brilliant idea!

  • Wow I am so sheltered... I thought everyone ate what we eat for breakfast! How cool is that? Spam! RIce? I love this. Thanks for sharing :)

  • That looks so good :)

  • hmmm, that looks good! Ours has the eggs, sausage patty, hash browns and a biscuit! I sometimes put ketchup on my eggs! LOL

  • That is crazy business right there.

  • yummy!!

  • @sarahrw16 I know it may seem weird to you :)

  • Oh dear. You know I love you but I'd have to just stick with my coffee. And not the kind McD's sells either. It's fun to see the differences. Now I want to go look up what they serve here. I remember an egg mcmuffin.

  • @thizizliz Of all the places that have coffee here, McD's has the best . They sell kona coffee here, ... so maybe you'd change your mind about that ;)

They have all the mcmuffins here, sausage, egg, etc. they have the griddle things too. These are just add ons to tempt the locals in for breakfast.

  • @CookingAndCrafting I think the plain coffee is still fine; even though not as hot as it used to be, but I'll never trust their fancy coffees again. No fun at all! :) Yeah, I might make fun of it, but it makes sense to adjust the menu to suit the people who live there. I used to make rice for breakfast some times but with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and raisins; just as I do with oatmeal or cream of wheat. Yummy....

  • @MACwishin2 I don't know that I have ever seen it with pineapple ever. I think the only time I saw pineapple at mcd's was their teriyaki burger and I think they have since done away with that-just slop on that nasty sauce!

  • That does actually look very good.

I do like ketchup on scrambled eggs from time to time.

The rice does look good as well.

I think that this video is informative and cool, thanks!

  • @freitasex Thanks Michael. I have seen you have been cooking up a storm. I'm going to catch up soon.

It is weird --I didn't realize everyone didn't have it until I went to SF and they didn't have it. I was like WHAT? Not even saimin. I came home (this was YEARS ago--like 20) and asked why that is and they were trying to get the locals to come and eat their breakfasts. it worked.

  • We don't have the spam or portuguese sausage. We have pork sausage. I would not mind having the eggs and rice for breakfast. They give you a big portion don't they! I love white rice anyway, but you knew that! lol

  • @wildheart5 The portions are gargantuan, Barb. Well, the rice is out of control. But mostly that is made for our local boy, I'm sure. I ended up cutting everything up, adding the shoyu and had TWO meals of fried rice :)

  • Never heard of Spam served @ McDonalds!?!? Wow! Learn sumthin new everyday huh? Thanx 4 sharing that. It was very interesting. I would so eat it. I luv Spam. Never tried Port sausage but I bet I would like it cuz I like almost any type of sausage. Interesting how the McDonald's can differ so much isn't it?

  • @1970sarteaga now you have ;) they do it for hawaii. They way our moneys

  • Spam and rice at McDonalds? Hmm. I don't think it's served here at McDonald's in Colorado but I don't go there very often so I'm not sure but I can tell you this, I'm not a fan of Spam.

  • @TigerlilyCO2011 No, you won't find these anywhere but here, I don't think....they did it to tempt the local population in to have breakfast

  • I have never had rice for breakfast before but now that I think of it I dont know why I couldnt have it. lol It looks good even the spam! I havent had that for years but I might have to go get some soon! Thanks for showing us this video!!

  • @beccawitch Try it!!! I love spam and rice and usually make musubi. Try looking back for that video here. I posted it a long time ago; Delicious

  • Sorry but I will pass on the spam. Watched a show years ago on the making of spam, it almost made me a vegetarian, lol. The other food looks good. I guess rice is our potato. They have really large portions, even for a deluxe. I have not eaten at McDonalds in years, I'm more of a BK kinda girl, hahaha! Have a lovely Easter.

  • @hippygram Definitely NEVER watch what is in a can made of pig snouts and feets and stuff. I love it, so I would never watch to see what it is made of HAHAH

BK has the same platter :)) Will try to go there some time soon to show you all.

  • Our deluxe big breakfast comes with eggs, biscuit, sausage, hash browns, and pancakes. The regular big breakfast from McDonalds comes with biscuit, eggs, sausage, and hash brown.

  • @yesimatwintoo We have those too!! no gravy though

  • rice for breakfast?

  • @yesimatwintoo Yes indeed :)

  • you don't eat biscuits or gravy for breakfast, at all ???

  • @HAYKTO nope, that is not usual here at all. When I saw that offered as a breakfast on the mainland I asked where the protein was LOL!!! If it came with a meat I would sop that crap up in a heartbeat!!!

  • My mom says they used to eat rice with butter and sugar for breakfast a lot when she was a kid in Savannah, Ga. I only had it once that I remember. I don't get hung up on certain foods only at certain times of day. I'm just as likely to eat leftovers for breakfast and oatmeal for dinner. LOL Never had the combo in your vid, but I like Spam, I like eggs, and I like rice, so.....

  • @blairseybell A lot of people doctor up their rice to make it like pudding.. I have never done that!

  • @CookingAndCrafting They didn't make it into rice pudding. They just had a bowl of hot, white rice with a pat of butter and a sprinkle of sugar...same way we eat grits or oatmeal. I've tried rice pudding and I must say, It's not my thing either. Happy Easter! We're having candy for breakfast....and a little leftover potato salad for me. LOL

  • Wow i wouldnt like that breakfast. But i know thats how they eat in hawaii. I eat everything but the rice would throw me off. Hot sauce and ketchup on my eggs. Yummy.

  • @virgingirl26 I guess the rice is the equivalent of any starch you'd be used to--like grits.

  • My grandmother always ate her eggs with ketchup. It's not at all appetizing to me to eat em like that so I drown them in syrup. That's prolly not appetizing to anyone, lol!!

  • @whatifyable ketchup rocks anything. I call it Portuguese Gravy :)

  • I thought they served it with pineapple also? I love the spam platter when I am over there

  • @sunsetlover no, never with pineapple. Although kimmy said she remembered it with pineapple. maybe they serve the silly tourists pineapple on the side in the Waikiki McD's??

  • YUM! I love spam. I am the only one in my house that eats it. I have not heard of rice for breakfast and don't know what portuguese sasuage is but i know i would like it.

I would love that for breakfast!

Thank you so much for the video.

Happy Easter to you and your family :)

  • @ibemamo spam is awesome :) Portuguese sausage is sorta kinda like chorizo!

  • Rice for breakfast is just so totally foreign to my culture, it is hard to imagine that people do eat it so early in the day. I find these regional differences very interesting. Thanks for bringing us!

  • @yoyomax12 that's so weird because I grew up with rice for breakfast .. just like the south has grits. Weird, huh?

  • @yoyomax12 I grew up seeing rice served with breakfast .. just like the south has grits. Weird, huh?

  • Man I wish we had Spam on our menu!! no Portuguese sausage, we have the regular country sausage. Usually, on our platters, which we have a few different kind, usually consists of 2 sausage patties about the size of tuna can around, with two pancakes, and a biscuit. There are several variations you can get though. WE have sausage biscuits and the usual mc muffins. Your prices seem to be a little cheaper too. ;-) Your platter looks so good though!!

  • @Elvis66 or you could make it yourself.simple. slice and fry!

  • OOOOH SPAMM <3 My secret love ;)

  • @AFabulousFeelin bwahaha LOVE IT!

  • one of the reasons i miss hawaii! port. sausage lol

  • @angelic808 true dat. My nephew went away and whenever we visited, we brought a supply.

  • that looks good & there would be leftovers for lunch :)

    xoexo

  • @edenbainbridge yep. Yup, I cut everything up and made a fried rice :)

  • : ) I would LOVE that!

  • @islandGAL7 yey!! It's definitely different :0

  • ours is just the regs...bacon sausage eggs hashbrown patty...now they have some oatmeal with fruit or something...strange. wonder if they have grits?

    mike

  • @macaronipop hmmm that would be interesting to find out

  • Wowza! Last time I looked, we don't have anything as interesting as that for breakfast at McDonald's here. Of course, my local Micky D's is 30 miles away, so, even if they added something beyond the usual, I'd never know it. lol.

  • @Neferkit it is different, that's for sure. They had to try to please the local population.

  • Huge difference from what we have here. I can honestly say that I have never tasted spam --I guess I haven't lived till I do. Thanks for the look into breakfast.

    Jolie

  • @whitsally Try some spam!! Fry it up till nice and golden brown. Little mayo, two pieces of bread. YUM. Or with rice.

  • @whitsally I have never had spam either. :)

  • Wow, rice in a breakfast platter. What does Portuguese sausage taste like? That seems to be a great deal for your money, but I would prefer to eat it at dinner time.

  • @ArgentineShamrock I have not eaten it, but my sister says it is like chorizo!

  • That's so neat! i want to move to hawaii! being filipino, my grandma made a LOT of spam and eggs and rice for breakfast (spam and potatoes was also very common).. i dont think i will be seeing rice on the menu at the mcdonalds here in georgia sadly :P

  • @NinjaMonkey4646 move here!! We have lots of Filipinos here :) Spam is a thing here in Hawaii lol

    thanks for watching :)

  • that is soooo much food!

  • @rach85256 it is TOO much food!!!

  • I was in Ga and they have Slushee in their Mc D's.

  • @kareemtiheed FUN!!!

  • Cool to see what differences there are. Looks good.

  • @dreamer72fem it is fun, right?

  • Having rice at McDoanld's reminds me of the Philippines. Haha. (:

  • @SoFreakingLegit aww glad it brought back memories

  • Wow, theres absolutley nothing here like that!! Just the Greasy hashbrowns, Pancakes Sausage u cant eat and Orange juice..lol..This is somthing Differnet for sure.. I have ketchup on my eggs too...Thanks for sharing the Differnce a Different State has..

  • @nkr1695 we have all of those too--but I think they tailord foods for the local population. thanks for watching :)

  • Wow what a difference, in Canada, they dont serve any type of rice at all!! Let alone for breakfast--cool! Thank you!

  • @lilredmum thanks for watching :)

  • Wow, that is crazy!! LOL!! My friend is in Orlando for the weekend - she said they have all kinds of food at the McDonalds there including shrimp. Here in West Virginia we just have the biscuits and gravy, mcmuffins, breakfast burritos. I have never heard of rice for breakfast...very interesting! :) Thanks for sharing this!

  • @BigGirlSmallTown yeah, that is a crazy amount of food. thanks for watching :)

  • Woah, I want this!

  • @nuclearthreat545 haha awesome, right?

  • haven't had mcdonalds in about 6 years, and i'm pretty sure all's i got was a coke that time.. O.o as for breakfast in mcdonalds, i've never heard if that in my life..
