new zealand cops dont carry guns? I thought all cops did(I'm Canadian). Kinda defeats the purpose of what the police do. Id be scared if somebody was trying to shoot me so I call the cops and they show up with just a baton...
i got my driver license for 2 weeks and i drive left hand cars, but it would be very very difficult to drive a right hand car, i would not know how to hot up the car's engine oO it would be funny :D
NO wrong all of europe expect for UK and Ireland drive on the right there are a few other island nations in europe that also drive on the left like cyprus
I was a terrified Slovak in NZ roads from november till april, especially I "loved" the right hand rule, while I was travelling around the islands. Hope you had a great time in Slovakia. Some Slovak drivers ride like idiots, the only way how to get through it, is riding like them or going them out of way :-) Oh and the video with drunk Kiwi girls is quite funny, probably I wasn't at the right time in the right place.
Last time I was in Bratislava in 1990, there were no nice cars like that. There were mainly Trabbies and Warties East German-made vehicles. However, you could overtake everyone in those days. I remember doing just that on a motorway in nieghbouring Hungary.
Hah. Well Gav, if and when you're here, where we drive on the correct side of the road to defend our honor- you can have a go in my cars. They're really scary!
Looks like it was Brown Trousers time for sure. Was that Rob tittering in the back there? Hey wait a minute that's the same side of the road they drive on here. Thats the wrong side of the road for Europe isn't it? Looks like somone needs to settle a bit before any further vehicular adventures.

@trikdoutcobalt
they have pistols and a bushmaster rifle in the car. If they feel the need for a weapn then they are aloud to take it out.

You did rather well. I could see myself trying to drive with steering wheel on the right. Luckily there are old postal jeeps to try it out in.

Quite courageous for a "Kiwi" to drive Bratislava's races.
Sure it's not for everybody. Hats off for that:)

I've never driven a car with the steering wheel on the right-hand side before. It would definitely be weird for me.

@bored1980 Ireland, Malta and Cyprus drive on the left too.
NZ cops don't carry guns? Here in Australia they do, and in Victoria (where i'm from), they carry ancient 6-shooters - they're actually antiques!
