  • Amazing!!!!!!

  • amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i LOVE their clear, unaffected voices!!!!!!!! the key changes are awesome and EXACT!!! love this.

  • This sounds like it's sped up from the original - they sound a little 'Chipmunk-y' here. The harmonies are still amazing though.

  • Amazing!

  • Phenominal!!!

  • WOW, simply AWESOME, truly the Gifts from God!

  • I remember seeing them at a church in Monroe, MI, many years ago. Then I saw them with other Homecoming Friends at the Palace of Auburn Hills. What a thrill! What vocal talent! Thanks for sharing.

  • I have had the pleasure of seeing them 3 times and each time the always seem to amaize me with their heavenly harmonies! They are wonderful!

  • The Martins are an awesome group!!!

You really know that the Lord is truly with them and their voices really show it too!!

Keep doing what you guys are doing for the Lord!!

  • bluerodeodemon46 is correct. Being a family group they naturally have the vocal timbre match. Notice when they sing there chords buzz. Nice wonderful overtones from The Martins. Some groups can produce both over and undertones to make a very big sound with as little as 3 people. Sounds like 5 or 6 singing.

  • 2:19?? Too short, much too short. They are great!

  • actually there is no fourth voice, heres how i see it. The stiff looking woman, and the man both are doing the same not at the end (both on different octaves), The one on the left when she does the "side" rift down (notes), then the other woman goes up leaving the man still at the same note that they were doing from before, so at this point in time, u have 3 different notes, but the fact that the man stays at his note, makes it seem like 4 people 2 ppl doing his, 1 doing each of the 2 women.

  • what is this dong called? where can i find lyrics?

  • Shall we gather by the river and Down by the River Side both in a medley, so you wont usually find them sang together regularly, they are separate songs usually

  • The "fourth" voice is actually an overtone produced by flawless execution of the other three voices - you hear the same effect when you listen to a Barbershop Quartet when you hear the "fifth" voice

  • klpetet

there are 3 voices that end this piece

  • muito bom

  • Lol- 1:36 Mark Lowry in the background.

  • ummm... someone correct me if i'm wrong, but there are 4 voices that end that song. I'd like to know HOW they did that!

VERY FEW people can actually push nasally and vocally at the same time to make a harmony, but it's rare. There are three voices holding when the eldest sister does her ending "funk". The other two are holding a constant harmonic note - then someone harmonizes with the eldest, making 4 voices. If you break it down you can hear it. Am i crazy??? Regardless, it's beautiful!

  • @klpetet I know your comment is a year old, but i'm responding anyway, lol. What you hear is what is called an "overtone." It's very common in barbershop singing. What happens is that the frequency from the vocals from everyone singing just so happens to line up, and this causes another frequency (or note if you will) to be heard. There, I tried to put that into as best laymen terms as I could. Anyone who doesn't understand vocal frequencies would be confused by the technical explanation, lol.

  • ~Man you should see the Martins in Concert. They are prefect and wonderful and they all love God like I do and put him first in everything in their lives like I should be doing!~
