  • The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated! Soon! Post fast (ended at day 26) was very difficult on me. The last 4 videos talk alot about "the new yogayak"... well, I'm still at least a week away before releasing that new version... so... patience please! It's great to have a following, and I don't want to let you down, but this one man show was a little overbooked coming out of the fast :) Will share all on camera! Love and Light

  • Would love to know what happened? Did you break the fast on Day 23 as you said? I watched all of your fast videos in preparation for my fast. I would have loved to have seen how you decided to break your fast. Anyhow, thanks so much for sharing your experience! One Love.

  • i suppose the logic is that..... as long as you are convinced that your body has STARTED healing because of this ordeal.. then you are.. O.K. ... makes me worry after so many days.. best of luck .. on the recovery from the recovery.

  • You definitely should rely on your gut feelings about when to break your fast, but since you've raised the issue I don't think that feeling in your throat is a sign of hunger. So I think you're right - wait for a day or two or three and see how it goes.

    The guy who actually inspired me to do fast, and his longest fast was 54 days ( he was seriously prepared and have done many shorter fasts durind previous years ) recommends following numbers of days: 3,5,7,9,10,14,21,28,29,30,33,4­0,42,54.

  • And another thing about breaking fast - if I was you ( I have only done two 7 day fasts ) after such long fast I would start with diluted apple juice ( it's softer than citrons ) for the first day, and then for the following week I would only consume juice and water, and then for a week only fruits. But this is just one opinion, basic guideline here - if you feel great and full of energy - no need to hurry with solid food, and if you feel weak - then you shouldn't have eaten this yet.

  • wow. congratulations on your will to go longer. I went on a water fast for 12 days, and I had to end it early because I had work, and I didn't have the energy to keep up with it, even though I only work part time. When I did end it, all I had was juice the first day, and I threw up. Looking back, I wish I'd gone through with it to completion, but I will go on another when the time is right. I guess it takes time to get to the point when you're ready, but you obviously are, and that's awesome.
