@Britgirl58 Thanks! In the video I used the Martha Stewart Embossing Powder that came in the kit or you can buy it separately as well. I also use Stampendous! Embossing Powder. I buy all of my crafting materials at Michaels.

Thank you so much!!!. I just bought the kit yesterday with a 50% off cupon at Michaels... like others I think Martha's product are expensive because the quality but I notice that not always . Well Now I will use my other 40% off cupon to buy the heat embossing tool. And of couse the Versamark Pad!!!

Thanks very much! This is exactly the kind of product review that proves "every-day useful" to us scrapbookers. I too love Martha's products, but it looks like she has some work to do on this type of stamp pad. Because her products are so consistently superior to other product lines, perhaps this particular pad did not perform as we users would have hoped because it had been in the store for quite a while and the "ink" had dried up somewhat. Please post more product comparison demos!

Thanks for the video. How do you find the heating tool by itself? Is it good or should I buy a different version?

@mikegnome The Martha Stewart Heat Tool is only sold separately and you can find it at Michaels Craft Stores. That's the only one that I've tried but it works really well.

I have trouble embossing powder coming out when apply heat using distress embossing stamp.

i have this exact kit! i find the stamp pad is kinda dry too maybe if she has refills it would be better?? thanks for the review!

@supergygs I did see the embossing stamp pad refill but dont want to waste my money on it if it is still dry like the other one in the kit.
