It doesn't matter were you are from, the blue collar worker is getting knifed in the back by big business and high paid CEO's that when they leave for not doing a good job, there pockets are filled with millions of dollars while the factory workers get nothing but a kick in the $@*%.
Maytag had way to many workers taking advantage of the workman's comp program and were always out on medical leave for a variety of reasons (stress, sore, etc.) collecting a check when they could damn well be working. I don't blame Maytag for leaving. (I didn't say all of the workers, just too many)
Idf the fed was a little kinder to big business from a tax sense, your job would still be here. Look at Obama and Hilary, still talking about 'sticking it to corporate america'. You don't stick it to them,you NEED them.
I bet there are more jobs in Iowa than Michigan. I work in a seniority plant. I used to have 50 some people below me and now I have 9. If I were to lose my job I would never make what I do now. I'm just glad I have a skilled job. They whacked a ton of non-skilled jobs. Good luck man.
