No this ride is based in a different storyline:Harrison Manhattan,New York 1899.After stealing a cursed idol:Shiriki Utundu,he went inside an elevator holding it and his screams can be heard from the elevator shaft.But when his Assistant Smelding and Manfred Strang checked the elevator-his body was never found,only the Shiriki Utundu was found.From 1899 to 2006,The Tower of Terror was built again to curse people and let them learn thier lesson
