  • it's more of a sequel to a sequel's sequel's sequel

  • Man, I was looking forward to a Wii sequel. I played and beat Hourglass but, Twilight Princess was so much better in my opinion!

  • How do you know it's a sequel?

  • The aspect you never mentioned is a lot of land seems to have dried out, and is that death mountain?

  • The train was a bad choice...

  • Zelda has trains now, WHERE ARE MY FLINTLOCK PISTOLS

  • I dont think this is a sequel to hour glass. And Im not sure if hour glass is a sequel to windwaker

  • This game probably won't be a sequel to Phantom Hourglass since it seems that Zelda and Link meet for the first time. Tetra didn't like being referred to as Zelda. Link also seems to be working for the Marathon Man as he's wearing a hat with the bunny symbol. Also there is an established land and kingdom and yet Zelda and Link are around the same age. Weird. Too many things point to a new Link.

  • well, it may be okay. it's just the same idea as wind waker and phantom hourglass. this may sound kind of nerdy, but it cant be an actual direct sequal because you have to remember, in phantom hourglass and wind waker, Hyrule is flooded with water, and the islands are tops of mountains.

  • Lol to be more correct, this is the first sequel to a sequel of a sequel.

WW is a sequel of OoT/Majora's mask... if you count the reincarnation of the Hero of Time [which is pretty explicit in WW] to be a sequel. Then PH for WW, and this LOL TRAIN STUFF for PH.

    I liked PH. :3

  • well i didnt know they had sky cannon's in medieval times either (twilight princess) doesnt matter if hes got a train, i bet it will be really good like phantom hourglass

  • This is gay. Zelda is supposed to about the medeival age and magic. There were no trains or industrial technology in the meeival age.

  • Well, this appears to be taking place after windwaker, which was loooooong after ocarina, so the trains fit chronologically I guess. Even if they are lame.

But I was pissed to learn that it was another freakin DS game.

  • No, Zelda is based on fantasy. Unless the medieval ages you speak off also had lasers a.k.a. beamos.

  • The boat from Phantom Hourglass says differently.

  • Yeah that's my opinion too, when I saw the train I immediately said WTF!

  • i agree, but im gonna buy it anyways : ]

  • @SPS148669 This game supposedly takes a long time after Phantom Hourglass

  • "a sequel to a sequel"

oh hay this game uses the same engine as phantom hourglass so OBVIOUSLY it must be a sequel. They LOOK the same after all. I mean, just like every game made with the quake engine were sequels to quake amirite guys?

  • It is a sequel. I'll stand by that unless the game proves me wrong.

  • It is unknown whether it is a sequel or not until we get an official announcement. I'll stand by that :V

  • fair enough, but when your wrong you have to post a "I'm sorry" on my video

I'll do the same for you if I'm wrong.

  • How can I be wrong when I just stated that it's either a sequel or not? :V

  • Because Train?

  • Exactly.

  • well at least you can disagre in a mature way :)

  • Well, I try. Trolling isn't my thing, I'm just stating my opinion :V

  • "Link is sailing in a boat. Wow. I'm speechless. Link.. is sailing.. in a boat. Why?"

Yeah, boat-sailing is weird, since he's supposed to travel across the lands and explore, not sail on stuff. OH WAIT IT'S NOT WEIRD, WE GOT USED TO IT, since it made sense with the plot that he had a boat in the Wind Waker. And I bet they'll make the train make sense in Spirit Tracks too, dontcha think? :V

  • no i never had an issue with a boat.

a train is something that doesnt "fit"

I'm going to make videos talking about zelda so - yeah now i can be called a fan boy lol... but I'll cover "why" this does not fit in those talks at some point.

  • I know, you didn't say you had an issue with the boat, but it's the exact same thing. Link, always walking or riding on a horse, suddenly finds himself on a BOAT, that was weird and didn't quite fit in a zelda game. But it did end up fit since it made sense with the story line. And I'm a 100% sure they'll make the train fit into ST so it'll seem as natural as the boat. I mean, the train thing is even in the game's title, so it's obvious that it's plot-related.

  • A boat was "unusual" but at least they were from the same time. What if Link started using an Arwing (from Star Fox) to fly around? Granted that's far more of a reach than trains, but still - GUNS were invented before trains were (I'm talking muskets people, not action film machine guns)! Is Link going to use guns next?

  • I love it how fanboys get angry at anything new.

    *sigh*.

  • I wouldnt conseder myself a fanboy, but... really a train... in zelda.

why? Its just a time filler.

  • a time filler. do you realize that is exactly what a GAME is......any game ever made is a time filler. lol and for your why question. wait for the release of the game, or the plot storyline, then you'll get your answer....

  • Zelda: Train.
