cotto is world class fighter above hatton in every department and although malignaggi lost to cotto he got the better of him in the middle rounds and could of even knocked down if the ref didnt stop to wrap up the tape.

i dont think so, i see cotto as very over rated. he has a good punch but doesnt seem to have the skill of the others or the work rate of hatton. malignaggi is gonna have to be well on form against the smothering style of hatton.

you cant say the guy cant box, the style he uses is completely legal. the only loss on his record is against a guy he went up a weight class to fight AND fought in a foreign country, admittedly its not the prettiest style in the world but he has outclassed 45 out of 46 opponents and most dont have an answer for him, he just served up a class beating on malignaggi too and malignaggi was doing all the smothering, hatton smothers work and fights on the inside because it works for him
