  • what about the hum?

  • @nirvanalive4ever it's true single coil so......there's no hum with the 2th and 4th position. But, the overall hum is easy to control, that guitar is very great made :)

  • Here's a video of me with a metal tone but I'm going to play blues and jazz anyway because it's a stratocaster.

  • People who say strats aren't versatile/ for metal are retarded. For one, strats have a longer scale and are not mahogany so it doesn't sound like a muddy piece of shit under distortion/lower tunings. Granted they're single coils but that can be easily changed. Strats = <3

  • Are those stock pickups?

  • Awesome! You must be a great Malmsteen fan ;D

  • i wish i had your fingers

  • STOP

    FRIGGIN

    SOLOING

    ALL THE TIME!

  • @5oulPower Man its like having a penis and tell him to stop..fucking.Maybe its not the only thing you can do with it.....but certainly the most...enjoyable..haha.

  • @denisgiann I agree i think solos are what give metal its life

  • @5oulPower jealous?

  • What colour/finish is that strat? I might get one of these

  • american standard?

  • who is the 4 who dislike?

  • u r like tna ne nenenennananannananaannnununuununnanuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!! give me ur adress i am comming to take lessons!

  • u r like tna ne nenenennananannananaannnununuununnanuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!

  • what settings on the line 6

  • OMG fucking awesome! :D

  • Nothing to say but: You are awsome!

  • which pedal are you using?

  • @Alessandoctor no pedal man, straight in the amp :)

  • @wrigleyx Is it a Line 6 amp? Sounds a lot like my Spider III. Do the pickups get bad hum to them, or is it something a Boss Noise Suppressor can easily fix?

  • @wrigleyx line 6 amp ??

  • @wrigleyx You should try it with a closed back and pack it with foam. This improvement is phenomenal on a spider.

  • @wrigleyx can you tell me about your patch you use please

  • @wrigleyx I have an old 80's Strat, but only use it to play classical or blues. I usually don't consider a Strat when wanting a metal sound, but yours sounds great.

  • @metalshredder161 spider? what amp please? and what kind of settings you use?

  • Tell me, how I can be so fast on the guitar? wrigleyx

  • hey how much did that guitar cost you and where did you buy cuz i wanna get one just like that?can you please answer

  • tbh when i saw the thumbnail of this vid i thought it was just another vid of someone playing shitty licks in his bedroom but now im truely amazed ... great licks man and nice fast shreds :D some parts reminded me of dime aswell :D great playing dude .. keep rockin' :)

  • @Raxmole thank you :D

  • Nice tone! What pedal(s) are you using??

  • PTM! yo creo que tu te debes hacer una chaqueta en menos de 5 segundos jaja

  • eric clapton shredding

  • @lovingleaves lol!

  • Am I the only 1 who thinx "shredding" is boring-sounding?

  • @gwugluud ok, on this vidéo that's what i do, i would'nt play some pop or blues, but, most of all it's only for fun :)

  • @wrigleyx No offense. Lots of people get into that. It was still good, and you play well.

  • @gwugluud No, you're not. It sounds like someone practicing scales. And it's boring as hell.

  • @gwugluud yeaa u are

  • my guitar teacher said no one will ever play/shred as fast and clean like Paul Gilbert. I agree but you come pretty damn close...especially if you were playing an ibanez. GOOD SHIT BRO! Peace.

  • @Samsinge Thanks!! :D and your teacher is just wrong, Paul is a human, like you and me, so it's possible for everyone, that's fucking it :)

  • That tone is awesome. What kind of amp/pedals are you using?

  • @Stophocles Line6 HD 147 head and Marshall 1912 cabinet :)

  • average price of a fender strat standard?

  • @ShadowShooter85 Mexican around 600-700$ American around 950-1100$ i believe

  • Hi! Very very good habilities...you're faster than anyone else. Very good legatos and shredding...you have probably a lot of years of practice behind you. See you!

  • @coeurvaillan2470 thank you very much! yes, i play every day, and i play for about 20 years :)

  • infuckingsane!!

  • I have my american strat standard, but it can't do metal tone without having some big HUM...

    I'm very frustrated about it

I'm even thinking about changing pick-ups to Seymour Duncan

    my pick-ups are Delta single-coil

don't know if it aren't the same pick-ups as yours

  • @om2832 try using the 2nd and 4th position on the pickup selector to get rid of some of that hum.

  • @om2832 dude have you thought of getting the diamondbacks that come with the american standard fat strat. You should get humbuckers...but you prob dont want to chop the thing up.lolol. anyways NO HUM WHAT SO EVER! Sounds nice! Seymour duncans still good choice though.

  • your awesome like hell

you have to put up a gate pedal to cancel the HUM right?

  • @om2832 thank you! noise gate....no, this guitar is terrible! so strat! and, i've tried it in a mesa dual rectifier, no problemo. I've tried it in a Fender hot rod something, anyway, SRV tone!!! if you look for a good strat, buy this one :D

  • did you change your pick-ups??

  • @om2832 no, it's all original and perfect like this :)

  • Does guitar playing get much better than this??? Awesome!

  • @darrenjbee Thanks!! a big thanks to Paul Gilbert!!!! Paul is awesome, i've learned a lot with his vidéos, especially Intense rock 1 and 2, and Terrifing guitar trip! :D

  • Which distortion pedal u use or its ampli distortion? i have a strat and i cant choose the type of distortion.i bought boss md-2 and than i sold it immediatly :)

  • nice. if you remember, how long did it take you to learn to sweep pick like that?? and did you just practice a lot or did you take lessons for them? i love Squier's. they're really underrated guitars

  • @TekNacho thanks! well, to learn how to sweep, one day or two, sweep and alternate picking have come very quickly to me, but legato took me around 4 years of practicing every day, and playing in tune was more longer too lol!!!!

  • oh my god those sweeps!, amazing!

  • @pancakespostman thanks!!! i don't sweep that much, but sometimes it's really cool! :)

  • Fenders can be brutal!!!

  • @sichodoc yeah!! so much people who said IMPOSSIBLE??? i don't know why!!!??? turn on the distortion and fucking shred that strat!!! lol!!!

  • @sichodoc.. Check out my vid, death metal on strat. lol.

  • i am about to buy a mexican strat for heavy metal use do you prefer it to be a perfect fit? because fender is the only guitar i feel comfortable with but its not for heavy metal use i guess or could be there an alternative?

  • Strat with metal distortion? Ingwie Malmsteen.

But this is some awesome playing, too. Sounds a bit fuzzy but I figure that's the camera.

  • @MrCptGonzo yes it's the camera :) thank ou very much!!!

  • And where are the feelings and emotions? The playing is lifeless without them

  • @machetok cool dude! i've done so many others vidéos where i play more seriously! this one, well it was for a friend of mine who wanted me to play my Strat with a shred mesa boogie distortion like ha ha!!! nothing serious here my friend! :)

  • dude ur insane lolz do u have tabs for it?

  • thank you very much! no, i don't use tab, but i've listen a lot some guitar players like Jason Becker, MickaelAngelo, Paul Gilbert etc.....and some blues player like SRV and Kenny Wayne Shepherd :)

  • Some great playing there, even if you did take sweeping a bit too far!

  • thank you very much! sorry for having being too long to sweep that guitar!!!!

  • Nice Job theres some vids on my profile of me playing my first act, these FA's are pretty good metal guitars.

  • yes, she works great with all kind of distortion!

  • you are like terminator ... a machine!!!

  • ha ha ha!!! thx a lot!!!

  • That was awesome, you're Pretty Cool at guitar bro, Keep Goin!!! \m/ .. Hope my strato sound like that when i get my pedal xD.. cheers

  • Ooops.....!!!!!

  • you rule man! im glad to hear some heavy distortion, shows you can really shred any kind of music

  • thank you ver much!

yes, i wanted, during my learning, learning as much things as possible and being able to use every fingering etc...

  • don't need any pedal

my amp is a line6 HD147, everything is on it!

  • hahaha, i thought the first effect was the heavy metal one. but it sounded amazing! when you put the heavy metal effect on and started shredding, AMAZING 5*

  • lool!!!

well, yes, the begening is just a random guitar thing with my usual crunchy sound.

then come the shredding sweep evil licks!!!lol!!

  • Andreas ROCKS!!!
