Corporate taxes and taxes on the wealthy (top 1%) have been much higher during FDR's New Deal program as well as through the 1950s. The highest income tax has ever been was somewhere in the 60-77% range for the top 1%. However did this cause job loss? or another financial collapse? NOPE!!
