Hey mate, hows it going? you like football manager games right? i found this cool one online footy-manager com its very similar to the football manager game. check it out. its pretty cool actually.
in 30 years of watching QPR, I've still never heard a noise like it when Furlong scored. Chris Day's save, best save I've ever seen. Still don't know how he did it. Would love to see a proper replay of that. One of the greatest nights of my life. More playoffs at the end of this season maybe?
i was only 11 but i remember sitting in the paddocks right next to the goal and when it went in everyone going completely mental. Best footballing moment of my life.
Best night ever. For me, it beats winning promotion at Sheffield Wednesday too. Furlong's goal was great but can't forget Chris Day's save right near the end of the game.
It's a shame to think that was in division 2 when we had no money, now we have money and in the league above, the atmosphere and attendance is shite compared to back then.
blimey, it was 7 years ago, i was only 9 when i went to this match and i'll remember this for the rest of my life, best atmosphere ever seen at loftus road and will never be bettered, the only parts of the match i remembered were the goal and the save XD also, furlong beat a certain fitz hall to score XD & guess where one size is at now? XD
but yeh, best atmosphere at loftus road ive ever experienced, we were the best fans in the country back then, this was gd times along with the sheff wed. win
What a night-the joint was jumping.And today we won 1-0 at Charlton,one month after 1-5 thumping @ WBA,what a turnaround - THE ONLY WAY IS UP, HHHHOOOOO-OOOOOOPPPPSSSSSSSAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
I sometimes think it's better to support a club like Rangers, because when the rare glory days like this come along, you enjoy it even more than when you expect success. After the goal, an enormous guy standing behind me LIFTED me up, because I wasn't bouncing up and down!
Commiserations to the Oldham fan, but I remember an even better save in the second half by Les Pogliacomi from Richard Paquette.
im an oldham fan. Hated that night. Especially that save by chris day. Still dont know how he managed it! =( The noise was unbelievable. To cap it off, least I was lucky compared to some other oldham I know who's car broke down on the way home!
yh i was in p block definetly best night ever at the loft. that hi ho queens park rangers moment will stay with me 4eva. u rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr's
Unbelievable atmosphere that night, even tho we lost, I remember Londons Calling and Town Called Malice belting out before kick off, miles better than the Munich 5-1.
Yeah, I realsied that just after I posted it, I remember leaving the Millenium stadium thinking "it will take a year and a half at the very least before we get to play a division higher" and it kind of stuck that it was nearly 2 years. anyway, 4-2 against Palace and I'm already looking up and not down the table :)
These were the greatest days. The atmopshere at Loftus Road in division 2 was unbeatable. The 'high, ho, queens park rangers' just made all hairs stand on end. YOU R'SSSS!
Um...we were promoted two years later so I guess that makes you a fraud?
Stood & sang for the whole game, never done that before or since. I never got to see Queen live but thank God I didn't miss that! I'll take it to the grave. The Brazillian style celebrations outside the ground were the icing on the cake. Keep your Champions league, second div' play-off seni-finals is where it's at! Took a week to get my voice back but it was worth it.
