  • his headphones must not work

  • how come there's so much haters? this was really good

  • what is the name of the song at 5:13

  • 8:37 he even stops trying! The real track is going. His hand stays still. Funny as fuck. People actually think this shit is real.

  • @B1ccy12 What?

  • This is like watching britney spears lip sync. No talent but bitches love them.

  • q dj mais rui é esse e a galera grita `_´

  • SONG AT 4:08??!?!??!!

  • Very sick vibes, cuts, transitions, everything top notch. WTF is up with the wack dislikes!!

  • @DJInfinity24 The fucking terrible music!

  • @DJInfinity24 I think the dislikes are from the track selection in the beginning

  • i like this video

  • Whats the song @ like 2:50, nasty house jam. Plus, he kills this

  • @Kalosius DJ Kool?

  • Helluva DJ! I dont play his style but hes got the skills. When you consider this is live its even better :D

  • this guy is fucking amazing~

  • fcking nigger

  • @LogoMproductions what's a nigger? I know what birdbrained bigots say it is but what does it actually mean ? just wondering..

  • Holy Schnikeys!!!! Wushu murdered this set!!!!! Scratching is on point!!!!

  • Haters........ SMFH!!!!

  • loving the girl with the vinyl on her hand

  • all these guys complaining about this is what is wrong with hip hop need to rethink, its not a hip hop battle, its thre3style's of music & even if he didnt use any hip hop so what?, hip hop rarely pays a technical dj's bills

if his hip hop mates put it on they channel, they are supporting their boy

Craze & A-Track both into electro house & drum & bass these days

"Real" hip hop dj's struggle to earn a crust so "REAL" hip hop dj's like myself play other genres to earn a living, it is what it is

  • @TheDjOfChoice its called selliing out...in hiphop most ppl sell out 2 earn money..more than any other music genre..thats y it has become the fakest style of music ever..even real hiphop sounds wack and unoriginal nowadays

  • @djpio707 get real, its a commercial dj competition, its not of the Vestax or DMC level, but will prob have a higher recognition worldwide, stop hating on who is a real hip hop dj doing other things to a different crowd to raise their profile & possibly earn some money

im a old school hip hop dj at heart but if i played only golden era hip hop i'd be unable to pay the bills, diversification is a good business model for a music genre that is dwindling

  • @djpio707 ALSO DON'T FORGET HIP HOP IS JUST A BASTARDIZATION OF FUNK, SOUL, BLUES DISCO, JAZZ ECT

if it wasnt for these genres hip hop wouldnt be here, open your mind, take off the blinkers

  • @TheDjOfChoice i know the dj brought the funk and soul to the steets..kool dj herc started it along with afrika bambaataa, afrika islam, grabnd master flash, grand wizaerd theodore dst etc.. etc,.... etc....creating hiphop music cause tghe gave the mc the change to rap over the breaks

i dont need to open my mind cause i have a large collection of real music on wax and not only electro hiphop

i just dont play that commercialized predictable garbage..originality is da key

    outa here

  • 00.30 what 's the song plz ?

  • What's the song playing on 1:18? and 2:20?

  • pfffffff damn Virtual and still fucking up beatmatching :-S

  • @PointZeroNL He was using Serato....not Virtual

  • @rendogpico I mean virtual gear not virtual dj !!!

  • man i'm really disappointed in redbull, how can u let this happen after doing a great job with supporting bboying? weird, he is good tho; i just don't like his set tryn to mix it up i suppose.

  • @redpepperdave

You gotta look around for other sets in these RedBull competitions. I've seen a few good ones. This set is a little sloppy compared to those but the guy knows what he's doing. I think he should have slowed down a bit and concentrated more on the quality of his transtions. Anway, look around, you'll see some good ones.

  • Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack

  • "you got serato, bravo!" lol

  • Great set DJ Wushu! I can't wait to see you spin again in Denver. Keep up the great work man. Congrats on winning the battle recently. I can tell you're continuing on the excellent momentum of your DJ career and loving it. That's what DJ Wushu is about, enjoying music.

For Csavir, find something constructive to do. Life's short laddy

  • Csavir did you read the rules of the battle lad? Wushu killed it. DJ Wushu has opened for some of your favorite hip hop acts. He has deep crates of vinyl. He has a real respect for the art of turntablism. If you actually knew how much skill is on display here you would show some respect. DJ music is about getting the crowd dancing, having fun, listening to cutting edge styles. That's what hip hop was about. They play the break, people dance. Music is expression, and this expresses killing it

  • It's not that they lack a sense of taste Csavir..they just don't share your narrow set of tastes.

  • So much hate on this video, meanwhile Wushu fuckin killed it.

  • @tat2718 Yeah he killed it alright, dead as hell.. And tha bitch that hop'd on stage was part of tha set, she wasn't sum random bitch... C'mon now yall mutha fucqas feed into this faggot ass music mainstream industry 2 much.. And he fucq'd up when he tried 2 beat match.. I mean damn how hard is it 2 match an 8 count? Can we say no rhythm? aka Blaze

  • I HATE DJ'S ... THIS SHIT WAS DOPE DOE.

  • WUSHU WUSHU WUSHU!!!

  • YO THE SPOTLIGHT IS MINE, IT AIN'T HIS NO MORE!

  • Oh, and on my way to watch some old DJ Qbert

  • Using MP3's is cool but he should be using wax.

  • wow these fooo bit ztrip... ive heard that metallica transition to rage b4.. smh...

  • DJ playlist in the house yall.

  • why the fuck do these techno dj fucks always fucking ruin hip hop with that stupid shit leave hip hop the way its supposed to be i dont want to hear them mixed together

  • more scratching less playlistin man! fuck

  • @cockswallowingblackchick

I wasn't associating hip hop with it, I was doing the opposite. Back in the kitchen please :)

  • It's about time they post the beat battles from M.O.B.(last year!) I'm still waiting on that. And trust me, they're not like this lol

  • It's all about growing up.

Either you like it or don't, take your shit somewhere else.

For ex, @Cvasir, if your so in love with hip hop, Tupac once said, "gangsta rap is dead. i've moved on."

    Maybe you should too?

  • wack turntables are for hip hop

  • hahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    WTF white people?!

  • I love how these fuckers think that hiphop=black. Get over yourselves white people can rock the fuck out of a show. Doesn't take bling and using ugly ass black chicks in videos to make hiphop. So ead biatch

  • @SooperPanda I love how you associate hip hop with "bling and ugly ass black chicks"

Coming from a black chick " Eat a Dick Bitch. This is Shitty Music..............................

  • @SooperPanda I love how you associate Hip hop with" Bling and ugly ass black chicks"

Coming From a black Chick: Eat a dick Bitch..,, this is shitty Music. wait a sec...this isn't music just embarrassing.

  • How come there were no black people there? All I see is white arms flailing about in an awkward fashion lmao.

  • @L0C0LeX because its 2011 and real artists dont use turn tables anymore. they have producers and they make real music instead of messing up other peoples stuff as a means of expressing themselves.

  • wtf did that have to do wit hiphop just now wtf it looked like a faggot ass rave fuck this im making a new kind of music they invaded our culture and look wat there doing

  • HE IS A GOOD DJJJJJJJJ GOOD JOB BROOO

  • I WISH I WAS LIKE HIMMM I WANNA BE LIKE THAT THIS IS MY DREAM JOBBBB I LOVE DJING I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUTTTT ITTTTT BUT NOONE CAN SHOW ME HOW TO MIXXXXXX I LOVE DJSSSSS

  • nobody parties like white people - I miss my white friends - rt

  • 7:33 I like how he mixed two different shits - I fux wit it

  • djs aint the same as they used to be, most shit aint even hip hop, he aint use no battle tactics, hes an e head dj. cmon son

  • how crappy that you don't even need to actually know how to match records to be a DJ now a days ......."i'll just set my BPM's and forget about all the skill and mastery envolved in matching beats"......... -cranky old school DJ-

  • This dude is cranking out some sick dubstep tunes..

    especially at 9:05

  • @Doonie602 Its Skrillex is anyone can just press play.

  • Eww, it went from Dre to shitty dubstep.

    Sad.

  • also agreeing with Cvasir. don't really understand why this was posted on a hip hop channel when 95% of those shitty songs had nothing to do with hip hop.. not to mention the terrible transitions. this was far from seamless, just awkward and tedious

  • Fuck yeah! 7:26

  • The westcoast part and the nirvana/rage against the machine were the sickest part of the set

  • Does it say "Quest Marv Won" at 8:16?

  • @RyanLkirk Are you serious?? You never heard that tune????

Its a dubstep song "Caspa - Wheres My Money"

  • C'mon, now...I know there are some battles (you've taken forever to upload) you could be putting up! Don't nobody give a damn about D.J.'s battling (and a bunch of drunk, white bitches and wiggas banging to it)...Where's the battle rappin?!

  • dj wushu killed it

  • People saying this isn't real hip-hop need to get a fucking clue. Hip-hop was forged by artists like Run-DMC and the Beastie Boys who sampled rock and metal guitar riffs, just because Wushu is experimenting with other styles doesn't mean it isn't hip-hop. The tracks that I've heard that he produced are dope as well. Respect.

  • To gullible morons:

What hip-hop does this stay true to? I counted "Be Faithful," "The Next Episode," and some OutKast joint (with Big Boi being the only thing intriguing in this entire, brainless gob of shit). The rest was designed to allure retarded, shoe shopping college students, because they're so many that they're going to make you money. I mean it with all of my heart: FUCK that, and FUCK whoever doesn't mind. Just because it's "deejayed," it doesn't mean it doesn't suck boar cunt.

  • @Cvasir well then you do it better dude

  • How does this have so many dislikes? I'm getting tired of these whiny cunts in every video that isn't Dirt or Diz battling, mentioning how URL or kotd is better. GT is on top of their shit in my mind and uploads like this proves it; Wuhsu came with some sick drops. All you ungrateful haters should fuck off and leave this hiphop to people who can actually appreciate it.

  • this was great regardless... stop sucking your favorite battlers off for a quick second and listen to something new.

  • Dubstep? okay...

  • i love haters

  • The dis like button is rigged, you can hit it three times

  • Dj sucks or his songs sucks ? !!!

  • As much as people keep disliking this shit, keep putting it up Drect. Real heads will respect it. HIP HOP is more than rap. But i wouldn't call this battle. I guess they're taking turns for like 15 mins

  • what the fuck is this?????? dj hero???????

  • @immune80 you know dj hero cause you own it

  • This is wack what kind of DJ battle is this. This is not a battle.

  • lol girl in bottom left whiles out 7:39

  • @cwjb14 lol 1:22 girl whiles out on stage

  • @cwjb14 lol she truely does

  • Gotta agree with Cvasir on this one.... This was type corny....

  • The music this nut played was beyond shitty. This doesn't show the "roots of hip-hop" for shit, not with one hip-hop track that's unbelievably overrated surrounded by dull dance music and dubstep for people who wear purple flannel shirts, yellow skinny jeans and thick glasses although they don't need them, and have their hair side-cut and read Dostoyevsky because they feel it makes them intellectually cultivated. This is just infuriating. Do you completely lack a sense of taste?

  • @Cvasir ROFL!!

  • @Cvasir Do you think i care?? haha

  • @Cvasir Not everyone was born the same as you, different people get into different shit, take the stick out of your ass and stop being so ignorant.

  • @thefatcat13 What am I ignorant of? Your blind admission? Fuck you, the fact that I can question this mess differentiates me from the genuinely ignorant tools that refer to this as "hip-hop."

  • @Cvasir Assumptions..

  • @VV22BB Allow me to make one: you subscribe to Ray William Johnson, Tobuscus, Lisa Nova, CTFxC, or Shane Dawson.

  • @Cvasir Implying Ray William Johnson wasn't good about a year and a half ago?

    along with Shane Dawson.

    next.

  • @Cvasir dude, anything on turntables, in a way, shows the roots of hip-hop.

  • @famou thats what I'm saying ... djing and turntabilism right there

  • @famou thats what I'm saying ... beatmatching, juggling, scratching ... hiphop djs used disco, rock, funk, and reggae records among other genres. it is what it is and this was dope.;

  • @Cvasir niice.

  • @Cvasir lmao nicely put

  • @Cvasir who said this was suppose to be hiphop??? are you actually stupid enough to think dj wushu wanted to show the roots of hiphop through this showcase???

  • @lupinyonsei HAHA!!!! It's pretty hilarious. Wow, people.

  • @lupinyonsei A lot of people did, actually. What infuriated me wasn't this "Wushu" fellow failing to incorporate hip-hop into his deejaying, but Drect promoting this brainless garbage and people having the guts to sit on their fat asses talking about "omg this shit shows the roots of hip-hop lol" and "rofl leave this hip-hop to people who can actually appreciate it lmao smfh." Regardless, whether you like this for what it is or because you think it's hip-hop, you're a tool.

  • @Cvasir hahaha, the roots of hiphop in mcing have long perished. now its strings of multis, wordplay, complex rhyme schemes. I never saw Run DMC do any of that did they?

Oh and what about Run DMC and beastie boys sampling rock? thats not hiphop either is it.

but ignoring that, the roots of DJing is scratching, beat juggling and all this other technical stuff... not the music they play. I didnt see one comment saying "this is the ROOTS OF HIPHOP"

  • @lupinyonsei Yes, hence the little keyword "show." Roots always "perish." Certain supposed elements of sub-cultures can be MORE OR LESS tied back to their roots, and whereas "strings of multis" can be tracked to rap, uhn-tss uhn-tss music lies as far from hip-hop as from rock for instance.

Who gives a shit? Do you know your literary history? Wushu here is a postmodern sheep for fashion. Run DMC and Beastie laid an entirely different blueprint (which Schoolly D didn't approve of by the way).

  • @lupinyonsei Also, I agree, only I don't really give a crap about deejaying. It doesn't change that this is tasteless to associate with hip-hop.

  • @Cvasir LOL calm down... This is not coming from me alone but honestly what your saying is complete ignorance. I too hate the styles of djs such as david guetta who play crap music for fruits out there. Dj wushu killed it and being a dj is showing your love for music and having an uncontrollable passion for spreading and showing others. Honestly there is now way to now his style but you do know that what separates a good dj and a great one is how the dj tends to the crowd and looks to me he did

  • @Cvasir

    very well said B.

  • @Cvasir and who the fuck are you and what the fuck do you read ?

  • @Cvasir i didnt know that the red bull 3style was a showcase of hip hop roots, i thought thats why they called it "3 style", not "hip hip style only".......jussayin. PS. I heard Outkast at 4:40, last time i checked, Outkast is hip hop.....hmmmmm, i might be mistaken. (shrugged shoulders)

  • @DjStaxx I'm aware of both the things you pointed out. Check my other comments and get back at me.

  • This is FIRE!

  • this shit is hot shows the roots of hip hop

  • @Zer0PvM no it doesn't. wtf are you talking about

  • @jeezuschryst are u a dickhead without dj's there would be no hip hop

  • @Zer0PvM i never said i hated dj's.. again, wtf are you talking about

  • tell me the south park sample was a shout out to colorado!

  • Never knew GT endorsed Gay Anthems 2011 , NAGL

  • started good...middle was meh...finished stong.

  • Droppin some skrillex. Fuck yeah

  • very good

  • 7th

  • WOW! that's how to finish off a competition. I've never heard anyone mix I to a nirvana song and he picked a classic. Dude went across the board on that. Good job

  • but the dubtrip can be better..

  • hard

  • bravo
