  • Is the better way to press CTRL + ALT + DELETE in each one XD

  • OMG WOW JUST WHAT I NEEDED. A 3 KEY PEICE OF SHIT

  • WTF?? 3 keys with less than 1 inch OLED Screens costing this??? The price of a brand new gamer keyboard? Does a OLED screen cost this much?

BTW, when the price lowers i'm getting a Optimus Pultius, with 15 keys.

  • This is something for Bill Gates to break every day, not for the average American.

  • ill stick to my normal keyboard thank-you-very-much

  • its small

  • oh right... that's IT. it sucks.

  • $135 for a three keys. Ridiculous.

$1550+ for the keyboard. Fuck that.

  • $1899+ now

    Fuck that X2

  • this key board is strictly for loosers that dosnt have a life or friends thats why they need keyboards that light up with lcds... if it was cheaper like 150usd then id consider getting one.. but 1550.. i have 2 words for the makers... "fuk you"

  • yea, lights up its point of life

  • could not have said it better myself

  • wow, aren't some people short sighted and narrow minded. So it has limited use in the small minds of those who can only see it as something to clutter their desk. The commercial world has embraced this wonderful little device & is embedding it in all sorts of items where a keyboard or mouse is not present. I've seen them adapted for home automation, in car systems & other useful purposes. At only £100 each they are very cost effective & I have already created devices that put them to good use

  • actully i think this is kinda cool but yea 100$ is asking for too much

  • i completely agree. they opened the API so you can do whatever you want with them. The naysayers lack imagination. This little thing is capable of so much.

  • i am totally with you all the way and dont think it is to much (especially since i have programed my to do a string of keystrokes for a game i play(makes my life $999 easier) so paying that much is worth it by a long shot

  • theres a fine line between practical, useful and stupid , useless.. this thing goes over to the latter by a mile..

  • this is very nice, im always having to switch back to winamp to change music and with this I dont have to close what I'm doing or anything.... I wonder if you can program it to have your CPU temp (another thing I like to know along with CPU Usage)

  • Wow you really are lucky you got all 3 on the slot machine first try :P !

  • it would be nice to have so i could change music from afar with a small simple remote, and maybe a few other things

  • very pointless....why would I want that?

  • pointless for home use, unless you have insane amounts of disposable income.

  • how is this pointless? i want one..i mean the big one is the one to get but holy shit you have to admit it is cool

  • new concept for who and what new age! Technology is moving upward not backward this is a step back i think it is pointless no no no no its not pointless i think it is bored mans thoughts! this is something we dont need i have a picture fram that does that stuff clock digital pictures and games (well no games but you can look at some cool stuff!)

  • can you press your picture frame? I think not...

  • no but come on dude who would buy this shhh? would you buy it?

  • Do you people have something positive to say? This thing can be used for more than keyboard macros or clocks. Go to thinkgeek and you can read more about what you can do with it. And if you're wondering about the refresh rate showing on the little screens, it's because of the camera, not that the screen quality is low.

  • yeah i agree pointless

  • Useful for complicated macros? Yes.

Useful for shortcuts that take shorter to do with the keyboard than having to switch modes and press the key? No.

  • pointless

  • what does it do?? do you race people in other locations?? wouldnt the tracks have to be identical??

    I dont get it ....

  • mmm... i dont see a point in buying and using this

  • I would like to say if the technology was in fact touch-screen it would be nice but you essentiallyave small lcd screens as buttons nice try and I highly doubt that 3 bells came up conicidentially

  • just get a g15 keyvboard its alot easier :p

  • vaporware...Goes without saying, only to people who want to waste money in useless stuff, or maybe, for those who just don't know how to use the keyboard..

  • great new concept

  • Really cool! I hope than soon i will be able to buy a full keyboard like this, it will be great for aplications, games, internet!!!!

    Keep like this guys!

  • You people are stupid. It is programmable and people can also program plug-ins for it. It's very flexible. The first use to my mind would be buttons for use in games.

Although thier new keyboard taking pre-orders 12th Dec - a full keyboard with a screen on EVERY key - looks absolutely superior to this product and is estimated to cost around $400, although the release price is unconfirmed.

  • Tienes razon amigo es un muy buen producto, y el Keyboard completo lo sera mucho mas.

  • windows media .."winamp".. err, moving along

  • wtf is this?

  • i'll give u a penny for this shit!

  • hmm. 150 for this so a reasonably high price ($1000+ est.) for the keyboard? I dont think theyre making it i call vaporware on the keyboard.

  • I hope someone like microsoft or logitech sees this maybe sony cuz art lebdev is slacking. Im thinking (and it is $150+) if this thing bombs then they wont have money or drive to make the oled keyboard theyll do something else. So sony or somebody needs to jump on this cuz ALOT of people really want this keyboard. I myself and at least 3 of my friends would buy it the second it came out.

  • My review unit is coming in next week. Expect to see how to integrate it with UMPCs

  • sound was bad on this. could barely hear it.

  • WTFF its kinda...'crap'

  • useful like hell, espcially on WMP wen im on games or msn

  • To all the lamers out here: This thing is nothing more than a proof of concept that you can actually buy. I bet that if they made it only for themselves, people would've been yelling to buy it. It's not ment to be the most useful gadget of all time, it's just a testcase for hard- and software.

  • Cool.

  • pretty lame...

  • so whats that shit? some kind of keyboard for disabled people ? Well if you are fking disabled u dont need a computer just stay in bed till u rot and die plx

  • And you are a sicko. The irony is that you don't even come close to measuring up, as a person, to the disabled people whom you lambast. Keep your bigotry off the servers.

  • I totally agree with you bluesdealer. I really like the concept of this product. With some more complexity I bet it would help out office poeople be more productive and make gamers beat me even worse at online games

  • omg thats crap, only three buttons lol

  • so stupid.

  • It's a cool idea. But 3 buttons? Nah... How about a customizable touch screen that sits off the side of the monitor...with Bluetooth.

  • Gay.

  • why?

  • If it doesn't work on linux (which is the case currently), it is worth nothing ....

  • waiting for full oled keyboard...

  • that is retarded, it serves no purpose whatsoever. You can go to the world clock website if you want the time in Tokyo, why the hell would you have any use for that device whatsoever.

  • I think it would work well for a simple carputer display, but I didn't see how much $ it would set me back.

  • That was completely pointless. Why would I need this machine?

  • this is the most rediculous thing ever

  • 3 bells! What did I win? A mouse?

  • WTF is all the negativity, like really, am the only 1 who likes it

  • No. People just don't understand a proof of concept when they see one.

  • Sooo...what exactly is the point of this device?

  • what a load of crap

  • it would be nice if it was cheaper and inbuilt into your keyboard.. other then that its a peice of shit

  • awesome more crap to fill up my desk

  • looks really stupid

  • so basically its like a mouse....but alot more expensive and alot more gay

  • useless

  • thank god everyone hates this, cause when the real optimus comes out i'm buying the whole thing and I don't want alot of people preordering it ahead of me. :]

  • Haha! Same here. We'll have 10x the productivity of all the haters.

  • i would not spend money on that

  • that SUCKS!

  • check out my new video

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiVwuYNcg6A

  • its a small demonstration for what will be a full size board. when you change fonts or hit caps lock it can change over the characters on the keys. as well as instantly change board layouts. with games you can custom make board layouts with images of what each key does.

  • all thos negative comment, it be useful like hell for WPM and stuff like that, and it cant be that expensive

  • actually it's over $150. so yeah, it's an overpriced piece of shit.

  • Quite useless. The cost is excessive, and dashboards cover all of that much better.

  • get a tripod

  • rubbish

  • completely useless

  • i don't really understand it purpose of it lol

  • It's cool, but cost WAY to much

  • Waste of money.

  • lame

  • nice thing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzP2Nxk4el0

  • well I wish I had one of those but it's expensive for 3 buttons. whatever.

  • u had to whisper dude i couldn't hear ya

  • cheat

  • Looks very boring, i don't know why anyone would waste there time making that, it's pointless

  • There is actually a full keyboard with buttons that you can change the icons... dont have link or price, but would buy it over this.

  • Three buttons for $160?

  • cool i think

  • it's like an external dashboard. cool.

  • their website hasn't changed for over a year, but they have advertised the full version for that long http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus/

  • Quite boring actually...

  • Looks quite boring. Slot machine? not really so cool...

  • That was an user created program. Didn't you hear when we said that the API was open? That means that users can go crazy with mods and programs when the full keyboard comes out.

  • TALK LOUDER!!

  • What uses in the field of teledildonics would make for a practical application of this device?

  • you sounds exactly like elias from clerks 2

  • I really want the full optimus keyboard. I don't know if i'll have enough money though :(

the full version will be amazing.

I can think of many dozens of awesome applications for something like this. I'm definately getting one.

  • ...or you could just click on those things with your mouse.

  • where do I sign up.....uhh yea

  • work on audio volume

  • Wait, wait... people LOOK at their keyboards?

  • they can't pan back and let you see it in context of a working environment. i don't know how "mini" it is when you're in closeup the whole time.

  • definately not worth 160 dollars.. the crap people try to sell you these days.

  • This is basically a Proof of Concept. Wait for the full Optimus keyboard. I'm excited for that!

  • I think a lot of people don't realise this is just a sample of the full sized keyboard they're working on. Imagine you're typing a letter in Word or something, then switch to Photoshop, now all of your keys show icons for what the keyboard shortcuts do. Now you switch to a 3D app like Lightwave, again the keys all change to show the keyboard shortcuts. Sounds like it would be great for learning new software if nothing else.

  • Yes, but if three buttons are $160, how much will the full thing be?

  • lol who the fuck would waste money on this useless shit?

  • Wow, talk about a product that will have difficulty selling *Cough*

  • Don't think I'll be wasting any funds on one of those... I need gas for my car... hehe

  • those are winamp controls >.>

And it seems too expensive, go buy like a 20 dollar keyboard with all those buttons on the top from logitech or microsoft or someone.

  • Yes, you are a spammer, jerkwad.

  • U are NOT a spammer...LOL

  • ...I'd rather use a mouse...

  • How much is it again? I guess well over $40 or something...

  • $160 :S

  • Very lame. They need to get their OLED keyboard out. Hopefully this isn't a sign of their future products...

  • SO you basicly buy something that display's buttons that are also on most 5 dollar keyboards and are always on your pc's screen?

    Lame....

  • I wasn't wasting enough time on the Internet, so I guess I'll get one of these.

  • so its basicly worthless

  • lmao

  • omfg lol
