Instead of creating a massive entitlement for everyone in the US, you should really look into WHY it is that healthcare is so expensive.

When Government departments and Medical Associasions set things like: how many doctors can be trained every year, drug approvals, which hospitals can be built, Doctors legal liability, employer contributions, deductibles, interstate plans and more - there's no surprise that costs spiral up.

Did anyone actually put a plan on the table beyond an initiative to educate people that there is a healthcare problem in the United States? Who doesn't know that? WHy no mention of the Conyers single payer plan that has been endorsed by hundreds of locals? Where is the UFCW? Where is Change to WIN? Where is the AFL? Way to give Wal-Mart some positive press the day after they were told they would have to face that massive sex discrimination suit.
