@capodiloco Denmark has and was never influenced by the dutch. Throughout history, none of it involves Holland. Why don't you consider the possibility that it is the other way around? Denmark has been around a little longer than Holland, and has created a larger impact on the world than you guys, believe it or not. We heavily influenced the english language as you know it today, a lot of words come from Old Danish.

In the beginning Old English was a language that resembled Dutch and Fryssian very much.
